Let me be honest the food there is up there with all the Jamaican restaurants around. All beautifully cooked and consistent. taste with every meal, however the attitude of the lady is poor and that is what lets the experience down. She does not greet you properly and is rude and almost dismissive in the way she speaks. The fact that the food is so good is probably the reason I will return,, however if there was a place nearby with equally good food but better service I would not. I am contemplating not even going back because I believe if you are spending money in a restaurant to support people this should be appreciated by the people that own the business. I have ordered from here countless times and the food has always been great. Never had a complaint to make against this company. However, the food last night has left both me and my wife with very bad food poisoning. My wife is pregnant with twins and this carries a risk to the babies, so she is now in hospital due to throwing up so much. A simple check online and you will see this place was awarded a 1 food hygiene rating. Look further and you will see management of food safety is "Major improvement necessary". Very unimpressed, this is a business serving multiple people day, but does not take food hygiene safety seriously at all. Stopped here whilst visiting Northampton from Cambridge and discovered this fantastic place.

The rice and peas was DELICIOUS and the curry goat had alot of tender well seasoned meat. The dumplings were fluffy and golden and the festivals are HUGE! The jerk wings had authentic flavours but was a litte bit dry (more sauce next time please 😊)

The service has left a lasting impression on me, the owner Lance is such a sweet soul, he's delightful and very hospitable. It really felt like I was visiting family as I ate my food and chatted away with him about Jamaica 🇯🇲
