The Garibaldi Hotel — Restaurant in England

Thanks. What a great pub with good grass roots music. I can only describe this as a real hidden gem of Northampton. I came here today to see Nigel Price Organ Trio and I wasn’t disappointed. First set foot in the door around 20 years ago and it wasn’t a scratch on what it is now.

It has some great beers on tap and the staff are really helpful. It’s a little crowded when it’s busy but this only helps add to the cracking atmosphere.

I no longer live in Northampton (currently in the South Wales Valleys). My wish is that this place continues the good work it’s doing - and also I wish that I had something like this where I live!

Well done to the owner, staff and the guy that keeps the live bands going. I’ll keep my eye on the upcoming bands here. Will definitely consider coming back...

Love this pub so much. I had my birthday here the other day in the “gareoke” room and it was mega!! Lovely rooms with fun disco lights! They let my friends come in earlier to put banners up and everything- and are always so lovely when you come in (which I didn’t know they was doing ) and Tom came down to let my friends know that I had arrived, which was super sweet! I truly had the best birthday thanks to this amazing pub. All the staff go above and beyond and are super friendly and attentive. It's been a long time since I have been to the Garibaldi but after visiting today I think I'll come more often.

They have a decent choice of beers on unlike most pubs in the town, I like turning up and trying something new in a pub and this place really delivered.

I wasn't quite sure if the place was open when I turned up but I pushed one of the doors open and then came in to the front of the bar. I was greeted by a great choice of beer and a very helpful barman who was very chatty and just a nice guy.
