Carpaccio — Restaurant in England

Didn’t even end up staying for food after we made a reservation a week in advance .The young lady who greeted us didn’t even wait for us to give our name on the reservation before she picked up the menus and rushed to a table to Chuck them on , literally . She didn’t even look at us never mind , converse she just literally threw the menus on the table . My partner sarcastically asked which table we were on . She just said the one with the menus . We sat down a bit shocked at the attitude and poor welcome however we were looking forward to our meal as we have eaten here before . Another young girl came to take our order who was very pleasant . We did ask for the manger and pointed out that we really weren’t happy with the way we had been greeted or not as the case was , we were advised the manger wasn’t in at which point both the rude waitress and her backup arrives claiming that we are in the wrong for discussing it for the last 5 mins and trying to defend said waitress as she is only 19 . At this point we just left . I will be calling the manager tomorrow morning as 19 or not is no excuse for...

Came here for the first time with a partner for date night, thought we would give it a try and wish we hadn’t. I ordered the carbonara and my partner had the chicken parmo, both meals were served to us within 10 minutes of ordering which was worrying as it is.

Carbonara was watery and tasteless with soggy tagliatelle and the bacon bits were pink barely looked cooked, just looked overall sad looking. Parmo wasn't great either - very bland.

Decor was dated and tired looking with a doorbell ringing throughout the restaurant for the staff to collect food from the kitchen which killed the atmosphere, staff were polite but didnt check if our food was okay and seemed fed up.

The worst thing was the bill came to the same amount as we had spent previously at Caruso’s down the road which is miles better! Overall plenty of better options...

Went here tonight for a 60th birthday. After sitting for half an hour had go ask for waitress to take our order half hour later came back to say as three people had ordered muscles for starter they had run out. Ok we'll have garlic prawns. O there’s none of them left either Saturday night at 8-30 no prawns or muscles. We’re busy with a table of 28 upstairs was the answer. Ahem we’re a table of 15 celebrating a 60 birthday starters all ate then the mains. Three people waited half hour everyone else had finished there mains they were served steaks with cold chips and cold veg o and then they run out of draft larger. Worst experience of a resteraunt I’ve ever experienced and because we complained the waitress gave me the dirtiest lookes ever. Hense we walked out...
