Company needs closing down,
Ordered through Uber Eats, Everything was going great, They rang before hand just to double check on the address as it was getting delivered to a Showroom.
About 45 minutes upon placing the order the delivery driver rings asking for directions, At this point he said he mentioned where he was and he was about one minute away from us but was lost, We gave him directions that a child could've followed and nothing.
Fifteen minutes later we ring the restaurant and the lady says she'll get in touch with the driver and let us know. She puts me on hold takes me off hold then starts saying Hello repeatedly. I reply and then she starts speaking in a foreign language thinking I'm the driver, I put the phone down thinking she'll realize her mistake and contact the driver then give us a ring back.
By this point I'm already amazed at how diabolic the company is but it somehow gets worse.
We heard nothing back from the restaurant after another 15 minutes so we gave them another ring to be told our order was delivered to a different company nearby and that it's our fault and we can't have a refund on the order.
You'd think it'd end here, Nope. The driver then rings us about ten minutes later to argue about the directions he gave us and to tell us that the company he delivered it too accepted the order and said it was theirs whilst talking over us the entire time and arguing with us.
So pretty much we waited 3 hours for food, got confused to be the delivery driver down the phone. Had the receptionist and the delivery driver arguing with us down the phone and still never received any food or our money back. What an amazing...

I ordered a 6 piece family bucket for delivery as was going out, the driver turned up shortly after 1705 but I found that it was the wrong order after he left. Phoned Howdyz at 1715 and was told it was a new driver and that he would be back to change it. He turned up at 1724 to take the incorrect order and told me he would be 10 minutes with my replacement. At 1751, 27 minutes later, I tried to call to get an update but the line rang out. For the next 30 minutes myself and my partner tried on numerous occasions to get through to no avail. My wife finally got through at 1830 to be told that we had been told it was a new driver and that they would cook fresh that would take 10 minutes, a whole hour after being told he would be 10 minutes! We cancelled as the man on the phone was very rude, and we did not believe the time frame given especially from what had happened. Disgusting behaviour and customer service from a place...
Read moreEverytime I order from here over the phone, I tell them I'll be 5 minutes please have my order ready. I turn up about 15 minutes later and guess what, they don't have my order ready! This has happened multiple times! Yesterday I ordered a chicken wrap, I told him I'll be there in 5-10 minutes; I turned up 15 minutes later, only for him to tell me that they are waiting for fresh chicken strips to come out. He told me to wait a few minutes, but I knew this was a lie, so I walked out. 20 minutes later he calls me to tell me my chicken wrap is now ready. 20 minutes later!!!! When he actually told me it will be a few minutes. Luckily I walked out.
I'd rather go to a place that has your food ready on time, and if the food isn't available, at least they will be honest and tell you it's gonna be 20 minutes or so!
