My two children went and did there Tin foil astronaut half term program. They doth loved it, they watched the movie and also participated in some arts and crafts relating to the movie they just watched. They also had some food while there they both had a chicken curry and some rice pudding. The staff were great, welcoming and friendly makeing the children feel at ease. The building inside was clean and tidy. The staff were wearing face coverings. They also have a bar and cafe the snacks were cheap when we were there at only fifty pence. When I went through to the gig was told by a member of the event staff " sorry no seats down here, you need to go up to the balcony area" on getting up to the balcony area was told "no seats up here you need to go down stairs". We explained what had been said and we're told stand there at the back if you want but don't block the walk way Shocking customer service ruined the evening. Surely if it is a all seating event the tickets should have numbered seats on Shambles and the staff are not worth what they are...
Read moreOccasionally have very good comedians on here and some decent theatre but there is no art on display in the coffee shop. Lots of posters for shows and stuff but for an arts centre the art is pretty thin on the ground. Lots of rooms for hire but there is an atmosphere to this place that i never quite feel really comfortable here.
