Can’t say I’m surprised, but thought I’d give it another chance. But it seems their customer service is still below par, had a similar experience when they were in the booth thing opposite Asda (same person as well, Holly, who will now doubt try and spin a different narrative like she did when they were opposite Asda) Went into the very, very empty store, I was the only customer and Holly sat on the floor, building a table.. looked at me and completely ignored me, no greeting, no smile, no acknowledgement. I stood waiting… and waiting, until Holly had to instruct the people she’s paying, to come and serve me. Because, standing round gossiping is more important than customers, clearly. And no, they weren’t “busy” or doing something else, which was the excuse they tried to claim last time I left an honest review. Nothing changes. Still the same terrible customer service. Also, the price of a school cake is now £10, absolutely laughable - joke is on me for paying it! They also charge you extra if you want anything heated up, and claim it as “tax”. Not only that, their Geordie Banger sausage rolls that’s supposed to have black pudding in, has a crumb of black pudding in, when you bring this to their attention all they do is deflect and preach “we don’t make them” oh, that’s okay then, no accountability for a customer of YOURS. AVOID AT ALL COSTS, I give it a year.

I mean I don't even know where to start with this family run business. The quality of their cakes, waffles, brownies, milkshakes infact everything they make are unbelievable. I took my kids for waffles at their cafe last week, after ordering from just eat a few months ago. The staff were faultless and very patient especially since my children were overwhelmed with the choice on the menu. We really didn't take into consideration how big the portions actually were especially when we ordered a full waffle for my 3 year old 🤣 naturally she couldn't eat the full waffle and the staff were happy to box it up for us so she could take it home. I would recommend this company to anyone.

Cannot recommend this place enough. I was torn on the website which cake to order, rang up and spoke to the most lovely member of staff who helped me and advised they offer a DIY service which was exactly what I wanted. Picked the cake flavour, colour and sprinkles and added the decorations myself at home. The cake looked and tasted amazing. Went down a treat. I would not go any where else. Thank you so much to everyone!

Visited on Sunday. Customer service is shocking since moving from Cramlington shopping centre. We travel from gosforth for the over the last few years, weekly for cake and treats for the kids. We ordered 3 slices of cake and 4 different brownies (ÂŁ20 odd) I kindly asked the young lass at the till if I can have a large box for the Brownies due to them being a gift, she just stared right at me like I was stupid, so I kindly explained as to why i wanted them boxed together, for her to say oh we don't have any. Within 5 minutes a young lad placed some behind the counter to which she said "oh we do" she continued to box all Brownies up individually so I asked could I have a box, Again she looked at me like she had seen a ghost and that i was in the wrong for even asking! The two young lasses behind the counter on Sunday 4pm really do need extra customers service training, at least at a standard where customers dont feel awkward when entering the shop and ordering. I understand they've took on new staff to keep up with the demand but at least hire experience staff for the demand over the weekend. ( miss the lass with the long red hair, she was absolutely brilliant at her job, we honestly thought it was her little business with just the way her skills on top form and how friendly she was everytime we visited, really do need more staff like her)

Not young un experience girls who clearly don't want to be there , so disheartening to be served by miserable young teens. Especially when customer service was on top form at one point.

2 chocolate cakes were dry and could tell they had been there for some time. The slice of home made school cake, was fine. Brownies weren't to bad either. 6.4 out 10! Standards have dropped massively since moving business. Staff arent trained or even friendly, cakes arent as fresh as they were when they were based in Cramlington. Such a shame as we had High hopes for this...

Really weird experience here today. I was passing with my kids after being at the cinema and happened to text my husband who was at work to see if he wanted me to pick him up a brownie/cake/cookie or anything.

The staff member approached me to serve me and I apologised and said I'm just waiting for my husband to reply to my message to see what he wanted. I spotted the cookie pies and he wasn't sure what I meant by cookie pie so I went to take a picture of a slice of cookie pie to send to him and I was told I couldn't take any pictures. I asked why as I was just sending it to my husband to help him make his choice and she said something to do with copyright, incase I was to take the image and copy it or try and pass it off as my own?

I can kind of understand the reasoning behind it but after looking at your Instagram and Facebook can I make the suggestion that you should start watermarking or adding your logo to your photos as none of them have watermarks or branding, meaning that literally anyone from anywhere in the world could save your images and copy them/pass them off as their own. Seems a bit odd or maybe just an oversight that you're stopping paying customers/potential paying customers from taking a picture of a product in your branded cabinets yet leaving all your online images readily available for anyone to use and take as they wish.

Needless to say I left without the cookie pie, although it did look good. This isn't a criticism at all either about the member of staff who served me, she was very polite and apologetic. Its just a bit of pointless rule and it was pretty off putting to be fair.

Its definitely worth looking into watermarking images on social media as I think that has more of a potential for any copyright infringement/copycats to abuse, than a normal customer just looking to...
