Moti Jheel Cramlington — Restaurant in England

We had an amazing meal here after Newcastle Races, the food was some of the best we've had. We both had poppadum's to start with a large selection of condiments - a couple were very spicy which my husband likes then we followed them by the onion bhaji starter and meat chatt on puri which was delicious. Just the right size portion too. For my main meal I enjoyed a generous portion of the Chicken Tikka Mossala with mince and my husband tried the spicy version which he said had just the right amount of spice but was tasty with it too. We shared pilau rice and a garlic keema naan which was cooked to perfection. To top it off we paid less than what we would usually spend on a takeaway. We were aware that this restaurant didn't sell alcohol (apparently you can bring your own) but we were happy with water after drinking all day. The staff were polite and attentive and the courses were served in a timely manner despite there being lots of customers picking up takeaways. Inside the restaurant we'd have liked a bit more atmosphere as it was very quiet with us being the only table in for the majority of the meal but I don't think this is reflective of usual evenings as I believe the races being on meant it was less busy. All in all I would definitely recommend this restaurant for an authentic tasty...

Ordered food totalling £17.00 from here on 22nd October. My mistake! I admit I ordered from here instead of my local moti jheel. Found out when I arrived at my local takeaway. I rang the cramlington outlet and explained my mistake. As I couldn't travel to collect and they couldn't offer delivery, I cancelled my order. They explained that the order was ready but they would offer 50% refund as I couldn't collect. Obviously, I realised I was out of pocket but accepted this refund as it was my fault. Clearly they kept the food and could re use most of it. No refund has been made! I have written twice to them and explained again, but no reply. I had prepaid via Visa so expected it back the same way. Nothing! I'm annoyed that they made the 50% money back offer and didn't honour it. Future buyers beware if you make the simple mistake I did, don't expect...

Horrendous service, on 3 or 4 occasions now they have simply forgotten my order, or taken 2 hrs to deliver, despite the website saying 45-60mins when ordered! They then claim it's out for delivery and will be about 10-15mins, it won't be as they have forgotten it, they then try and cook it and deliver it to you, so another 30mins at least, so you're wait is 2 hrs (last time I ordered at 7pm, they tried to deliver it just before 9pm despite me calling and cancelling after being told the old classic "out with the deiver, wait the 15 mins" after I had waited 1.5hrs already and it didn't show up! Honestly, the food is pretty good but who needs the hassle of wondering if they'll actually turn up with your order!?
