I'm picky with pizza and tried Pronta a few months ago. It was ok but I have a couple of gripes. A family member won a free pizza on the world cup competition so I thought let's see if I feel the same.
I'd like to say Pronta was my absolute fav 20 years ago before they were bought out by Papa John's so I was happy to see them back.
So the pizza, the dough was really nice, I usually only eat the thinnest crispy bases, this was more like a dominoes classic crust but was fluffy, fresh and tasty.
The tomato sauce was great, much better than Dominoes imo.
Only the two issues I previously had remain, for some reason the cheese taste is not quite right, I can't identify it but it's just got a cheap/plasticity hint to it. Not prominent but definitely there.
Also they seem to put all the toppings under the cheese. May not seem like a big thing but I like my pepperoni and the like with crispy edges, sometimes the toppings can be soggy due to fat leaking from the cheese and a lack of direct heat.
I would really like this to be my go to place for pizza and will try again for sure, cakes look lovely as well.
Wishing this business all the best...
Read moreBought 2x pizzas, garlic supreme, wedges and pop to o be collected at 6pm. We arrived at 6 to collect to be told our pizzas were just getting out in the oven so to wait 10-15 mins which we did. Bf went back to collect only gave him 2x pizzas and wedges. So I went back to ask about my garlic supreme (I forgot about the pop) I was told by guy on the till I didn't order a garlic supreme so showed him the proof on the box written with your order so he went back sluggishly and confirmed oh here it is. I then asked about my 3x garlic dips once again he said I didn't order so once again proved to him on the box. Off he went once more to get the garlic dips for me 🙄. Then I get home and my bf asks where's the bottle of coke .....so still ended up getting robbed after all that agro I totally forgot about the pop. Guy behind the till full of attitude was lucky I went back alone because if my bloke was there the manner her spoke to me he'd have a very fat lip or black eye. Disgusting...
Read more9 o’clock on a Thursday night in pronta, not too busy, walked down to order a Ben and jerrys tub and a milkshake. I walked in and could see around 6 workers there, I got completely ignored for 5 minutes until I was finally recognised and starred at before I asked the customer infront of me whether he had been served. The worker then took my order and my payment. He got the cup to make my milkshake in and put the ice cream in it. The worker then left it in the back for 8 minutes and continued to serve other people who had the same problem and he took 2 phone calls. Working in a desert bar I know milkshakes take a maximum of a minute to make. I recieved no further communication from the worker until I asked him how much longer it was going yo be and he told me it still had to be blended. 13 minutes wait for a milkshake and a tub of ice cream is absolutely outrageous despite the horrific customer service I received. Horrific meaning non at all. I will not...
