Cinnamon Ferndown — Restaurant in England

Had five star meals from here before but WOW has this place gone downhill. Ordered food and told the lady on the phone FOUR times for chicken and STILL ended up with lamb. Rather than fix the problem properly, they clearly picked out the lamb and replaced it with dry horrible chicken. We know this because it took 120 seconds to rectify so couldn’t have possibly cooked a new one! The food had zero flavour and zero seasoning! I have never ever had to put salt on an Indian before but the food lacked so much of everything! Will never ever be using again!

My Mother is a 65 year old woman who knows exactly how to show respect. You were on speaker when she ordered and the lady kept repeating “chicken or lamb” and my Mum stated “chicken” four times in front of me so please don’t lie about this. You fixed the problem in five minutes says it all! The dish was not cooked again from scratch and some dry already cooked chicken was put in the same sauce that the lamb was already in. Rather than coming back with horrible responses, may take the criticisms and feedback and work on how you address complaints. We certainly won’t be a “loyal customer” anymore after your awful response! The food had no flavour, it was your fault that the order was wrong due the lady not understanding “chicken” four times so own it and improve rather than saying my mother has no respect! Had a terrible experience ordering tonight. Our order was around 45mins late and we waited nearly 1 and a half hours in total from point of order, way beyond the confirmed time. The order showed ‘on the way’ for over 40mins and then tracking disappeared and it said it was delivered but it wasn’t! I phoned the restaurant who just passed the phone to another staff member with no handover, repeated my complaint only to be told I’d be called back but wasn’t. Phoned again and they called the driver who said he was 10mins away. I expressed this was poor service and would like compensation only to be ranted at and told none of the issues were their fault it was all Just Eat and they can’t be held accountable. The man was aggressive, rude and adversarial. He should never be in a customer facing role with that temperament. He then threatened to call the driver and have him turn around, return the food and stop us getting a refund!! At this point our food arrived while he was still be aggressive on the phone and refusing to take any responsibility at all. The whole order was cold when it arrived and disgusting, not to mention missing pickles and arriving with the wrong naan bread. Terrible service that I will never experience again as I shan’t use...

Great food shame about the lies and delivery. My order last night should have been with me at 8.25 - at pm there is no sign but says delivered on the app. Called and explained last time this happened the driver told me they when to the wrong address, clealry done the same last night as after the call received an updated delivery time of 9.25 which also didn't arrive on time. When it did turn up it was stone cold. Called again, was polite about it and said that I'd like a refund and they can take the food back, was told to put the food in the bin and they would refund, which we did. Now got a notification from Just Eat saying no refund as the driver was stuck in traffic, I'd love to know where in this area at 8.30pm at night you can hit 1 hour of traffic. Not only lying about traffic but also the refund and we didn't even get to eat, absolute joke of a business. Such a shame, food is very good but that will be the last...
