Coffee#1 Daventry — Restaurant in England

Wow! What a lovely experience from Coffee #1 Daventry! Bear with me :). Me and hubby had a coffee and shortbread at the Weston-Super-Mare branch whilst on holiday last summer and hubby being a bit of a shortbread connoisseur was well impressed by the tasty biscuits. I had a thought that it wd be a great idea to get him some for Valentines. Unfortunately there isn’t a Coffee #1 near me in Northampton so rang the nearest branch explaining that I couldn’t drive to Daventry but could they post me some of their Shortbread for a Valentines treat for hubby. The gentleman was so kind and said he would send them free of charge and true to his word they arrived the very next day, just now! We are in a very troubled and uncertain era - to be the recipient of such an act of kindness is both humbling and heartening. If this is the level of service from a stranger/unpaying customer, I can only imagine you will be treated like royalty as a paying customer. Thank you so much Coffee #1 Daventry - and to the chap who answered my call and arranged this - you are a star!...

Horrible customer service!!! While doing my order, I felt like I was treated with arrogance and they looked like doing a massive favor to me but they didn’t really wanted to do it After paid, I was told to wait at the end rudely, the order was two cakes and two lattes I was with another person, both cakes were served together on the same plate with a empty plate stacked under . Both cafes were burned , as I drink with plenty sugar I didn’t mind But my partner drinks without sugar so I asked another the barista”guy” turned very defensive saying there was nothing wrong with the café because the milk was in the right temperature 😂 And the other barista “girl “ served me straight away another latte And the guy just kept talking to him self saying the café was perfect... Only giving two stars due to the cake being nice...

I absolutely love this coffee shop. It's the only one I use in Daventry (and there's quite a few) .. Lucy, Sidney, Tom and Mark will go above and beyond to make everyone's experience here second to none. The place itself is lovely and really relaxing All in all, and with help from the fantastic staff Coffee#1 in Daventry is somewhere you are reluctant to leave from. (I'd just like to add they have been really short staffed here recently but the team have ensured the standards do not slip at all. They are working long hours and days on end. Sometimes I think they must have a bed upstairs!! This team definately deserve a pat on the back for the efforts they put in ... Along with...
