Coffee#1 Derby — Restaurant in England

I never received a large part of order I made from Just eat. I tried contacting the head office. Call and emails. I was told it was being looked into. I would get a refund ect. I waited and heard nothing. I contacted them today. Was told they can’t help me as it was through just eat. It was through them yes, but it’s the store then sold it. And didn’t give me the full order. It may seem a little amount but £24 on coffee is extremely expensive and I wanted a treat. I can’t afford to be throwing money out the window. Not being helped at all by this company. And when trying to contact the derby store that can actually vouch for the fact I never areceived my order! But the number is wrong on Google on your website or with number i was given by head office. This is ridiculous! The coffee was lovely. Buy service that I’ve received is beyond terrible.if you feel you could treat yourself. Don’t bother. I’m chasing £24 this is crazy! So disappointed and highly embarrassing. I’m disabled and can’t walk to the store. Which makes this all...

I don't often leave reviews for places....especially coffee shops but this place needs to be recognised. At first glance you would think a simple chain store but it is far from it. Staff are warm friendly and clearly passionate about their drinks and service. The guest beans have always impressed and ( I can't believe I'm going to say this) their Welsh cakes are some of the nicest and perfect treats to pair with their coffee I've ever had. I travelled 30 minutes to come and sit in the many comfy chairs and managed to write an entire chapter to a book. Great atmosphere, people and...

We pop in often. They do great coffee here – thick and strong. Great place for people watching.

Not eaten here yet but the cakes, pastries and sandwiches look good. Maybe some low carb alternatives would be good. Bacon and egg tarts, for example?

Only marked down (selfishly) due to there being plenty of space for prams and pushchairs and therefore... Squawking small things – that can spoil the atmosphere.
