Visited this branch again, this time for Breakfast. It was the first time trying breakfast and was hoping this time would be better than my previous experience (which can be read below) We were shown to our seats, there were only one other couple in the restaurant. We were asked if we wanted a drink, we ordered tea and asked for this to come with our food. The waitress walked off and didn't return for another 20 minutes, she then asked for our food orders. 15 minutes after that she arrived with the cups of tea (which we didn't want without the food) then 10 minutes later the breakfasts arrived and they were lukewarm. Ther was no reason for this to happen as there was still only 1 other couple as well as us. Visited the bathrooms and only one of them had toilet roll. Disappointing and would not recommend.

Here is my previous review... Visited here for my friends Birthday, I feel bad for recommending it to my friends who do not live in Derby as it didn't really go to plan at all.

Booking, we told them it was a special occasion and was a 30th Birthday, unsure why this was an option on the booking form as nothing was done for us - yet a table next to us had lots of balloons etc up.

When booking we saw a really nice menu with lots of vegetarian options, tapas options but when we arrived it wasn't the case, not saying that it is cosy clubs fault that we didn't check on the day but the options for vegetarians go down an awful lot on this other menu. I was originally looking forward to lots of tapas or a halloumi burger option but all of my original options had gone and instead it was things like a tart, or pea risotto. I ended up with Fries and Halloumi Sticks in the end and they were approx. £9.50!

The staff were nice but they didn't really seem to know who was serving us. First we had one lady and once we told them one of us suffered with celiac disease we had to wait longer for someone else to take over. Then we had people keep asking us if we had ordered drinks - yes we have ordered but it takes 20 minutes for them to arrive. When we finally got asked for food options we then had two people come up with steak knives for people at our tables even though we had already been provided with them.

Extremely expensive for the portions you get. My friends had two different type of steaks which they said weren't fantastic and they were around £25 each.

Place looked nice inside and toilets were clean.

For 5 of us (including me that had halloumi sticks and fries) we ended up with a bill of £135.00 this was mains with a...

Delicious food , terrible service ! What a shame that such a nice place with really good food has such a terrible , unattended, bored , rude service. We will never come back . From the beginning me and my friends were ignored, the staff was passing by, not even asking the friend who just joined us does she want to order a drink.... If not mine : excuse me ? Can we order a drink ? Excuse me , we ordered a drink 20 minutes ago ... Excuse me , can we order more drinks please ... I think we would be sitting in a restaurant only with the bottle of water which thankfully arrived . When the drink was served, the waiter spilt the other drink all over my friends and the table ...you know in a normal restaurant we would be apologised and offered a complimentary drink , but no ...not in Cosy club. The night was not busy , even though we needed to catch attention of the staff with absolutely everything. Nobody came to us asking do we want to order more drinks or to clean the table. And we ordered a lot ... The plates were cluttered on the table so I asked someone to collect the empty plates , the person collecting it ( apparently the manager ) grabbed the plate with olives , so I said : no no you can leave this ( obviously not empty) I got a very rude comment about getting mixed messages 😂 lovely attitude towards your customers - well done ! Then obviously nobody came to ask have we finished or do we want another drink or a dessert, so I asked for the desser menu myself. After we finished the drinks and dessert, there was no staff in the room ... Not sure if anyone would even notice if we would leave ? So we went to the one person we found to ask for the bill. On the bill we saw the drinks were not right , so asked to change it . The manager came ( the very rude gentleman - Grant) and he changed the drinks ,I told him about the service and spilt drink and he answered : I don't know what I can do about it . I have never seen such poor service , it looks like people working there do it as a punishment. Will never return , btw my friends had the same experience last year . I do not recommend, it's a shame because the food was amazing - well done to...

I recently had the pleasure of spending a delightful evening at Cosy Club in Derby, and I am absolutely thrilled to share my experience. From the moment we stepped inside, we were enveloped in an atmosphere of warmth and hospitality.

The decor at Cosy Club is nothing short of exceptional; it effortlessly marries rare elegance with a comforting homely touch. Every corner tells a story, and every detail is a testament to their commitment to creating a unique and inviting ambiance. The attention to design is truly remarkable, making it a perfect setting for a memorable night out.

What truly sets Cosy Club apart, however, is their impeccable service. The staff, without exception, were attentive, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable. They made us feel not just like patrons, but like honored guests, ensuring our glasses were never empty and our needs were always met with a smile. The level of professionalism and genuine warmth displayed by the entire team is commendable and added immeasurably to our overall experience.

As for the culinary delights, we were spoiled for choice. The menu, carefully curated with a wide array of delectable options, caters to diverse tastes and dietary preferences. Each dish we sampled was a masterpiece, bursting with flavor and prepared with evident skill and passion. The chef's dedication to using fresh, high-quality ingredients was evident in every bite, leaving us craving for more.

Our night at Cosy Club was nothing short of glorious. It was an evening filled with laughter, exquisite cuisine, and an ambiance that made us feel right at home. If you're seeking an experience that combines exceptional service, rare decor, and delicious food, look no further than Cosy Club in Derby. It's not just a restaurant; it's a destination where every moment is crafted to perfection.

Thank you, Cosy Club, for a truly memorable night. We will undoubtedly be returning soon, eager to relish in your warm embrace, and enjoy another enchanting evening in your charming...

My friend and I wanted somewhere different to go for some late lunch and so we decided on the Cosy Club. Although my friend had been once before a while back, it was my very first time visiting. As you walk in, you're greeted with an almost vintage-y feel and it's great! Old paintings upon the wall and retro furniture too, but that's not all. Ascending the stairs to the top, we got to the first bit of the club which is the bar area and what a fab area it is too, to relax and enjoy and Beveridge or two. Further down is where the restaurant is located and a lovely restaurant it is too. Very ornate with a fancy oldy-worldy vibe, almost like stepping back in time. The decor and glass chandeliers make for a very luxurious, almost palatial feel. The staff were really friendly and showed us to a table where after a short time of waiting, we had water poured for us before choosing what we'd like to eat and drink. I decided to go for the dirty chicken burger and I'm glad I did. The portion size was great, and there was plenty going on in the burger; the flavours were tantalising! Everything was cooked really well and tasted good (oh and the berry cider they have is certainly worth a try!) After spending time enjoying our meal, we paid for the bill and were able to make our way, with our drinks, to the bar area to take a sit and enjoy the vibe further. I would certainly recommend the Cosy Club to anyone looking for something different, with a cool vibe and great food. Thank you to the staff for a pleasant and enjoyable visit, will certainly be returning! :)
