Out for a walk & ended up in Coffee No 1 on our return journey to rest, grab a tea & then decided to add some cake. The staff were not totally sure on one of the cakes being Gluten Free or not, so as they were not 100% confident on this, we decided to not chance that cake & went for a pre-wrapped Gluten Free jam sponge type loaf. I really fancied some cheese cake & paid for a slice at £3.95, but to be honest, this was £2.00 over priced compared to the quality, freshness & taste, so we finished our drinks & left. The staff are warm welcoming, friendly, we did not wait long to be served, but our overall visit today was not the best. The store feels a bit tired & could do with a deep clean. We have visited before & I am sure that we will visit again for a drink, I just hope that the place feels a little bit more clean. 13/07/25 : A returning visit for us in need of drinks, a tea & a milkshake. No wait to be served & our drinks were good today.

Nice coffee#1. Place really nice with amazong views of the centre and the park. There are a lot of sofas with super big windows that provide good light. The hot chocolate that we ordered was good but didn't taste a lot of chocolate just milk. The staff was eficient and we didn't wait a lot for them to be prepared.

One of the coffee#1 branches with best views I have seen. Massive windows allowing plenty of natural light inside. Hot chocolate should have a bit more chocolate because it tasted almost like hot milk. Overall it is a good place for a drink with friends because it is quiet and it has many sofas to seat on.

I want to start by saying I quite like this place and the people that work there, however almost every time I have been here there are cups and dishes on most of the tables and have had to ask a staff to clear and wipe down a table so I could sit. The thing is, I don’t think this is due to the staff not knowing it needs to be done, there just aren’t enough of them to keep up with it. My understanding is this is a new location and this may be part of the initial growing pains, so I am hoping they will be able to get some more staff in there so they can really show off this new neighbourhood hangout. Their products are good, i enjoy their lattes, and this place could be really great if management gives the staff what they need to do their...

Too noisy as they’ve not used sound proofing on the ceiling, so noise echos. Tables always full of used cups and plates, not enough staff to clear away, poorly managed. Not consistent with sizing of Frappe glasses. The black plates and cups always look smeary, dirty. Some staff are so miserable, a smile costs nothing, and for the price you pay for all this a free smile would be good. Quite let down by this store and it needs the main bosses in to sort it out. Don’t insult the people of Nailsea with rubbish and service...
