Paradiso Italian Restaurant — Restaurant in England

Food was lovely, but it was a bit of an odd experience. We were a party of 6 and had booked a table for 5.15 one evening.

The staff were very abrupt in mentioning that we had to be out by 7.30pm. Now usually that would be plenty of time, but the service was so slow that we had barely finished our main course by 7pm.

Of course we wanted desert too, and then there was a weird situation where our bill arrived without us asking (sans deserts) just after our desert orders were taken by a different waitress!

The attitude of the staff was not pleasant, felt very pressured to leave and none of the wait was our doing. Disappointed and felt very unwelcome despite the good food. Given some of the others in our party are regulars at this establishment I did ask if this kind of thing had happened before. Sadly rudeness from both the kitchen and the waiting staff is...

We ALWAYS visit here when we’re travelling up to Bristol from Cardiff as we LOVE it here.. what can I say, the most perfect Italian and so authentic.. we don’t have many authentic Italians in Cardiff so we love going up to Bristol for the weekend and visiting here. The pasta I had last night was the best pasta I have ever tasted!!!! It was fresh authentic pasta, the sauce was Devine!!! (Tortellini in creamy sauce) we’ve already planned another trip up next month so I can have the pasta again! I must also add that the staff here are exceptional, the two young girls on shift yesterday (17/05) were so friendly.. and the manager often walks around serving, chatting to guests and ensuring things are all ok.. he’s fab!! absolutely awful , date , fri eve 20.1.17 starter: had tiger prawn starter ,although you couldn't taste the prawns because of the amount of chillies in the sauce , which tasted liked tomato sauce thats in tinned tomatoes ,awful main: went with a safe bet or so i thought , lasagne , big mistake , came completely burnt and welded to the outer part of the dish , so i thought i know il go for the middle ! , so that was completely dried up and tasteless , the meat i did find ,wasn't mincemeat , it was stewed steak from a tin !!!! , recognised that taste from when i was poor !!!!! , if you want lasagne , try asda value range in the microwave , a far better bet !
