Cook's Cafe Forum — Restaurant in England

Went into the cafe after swimming a month or so ago. Asked for an egg bun and the girl said it’ll be a ten minute wait which was strange as me and my daughter were the only ones in. I said yeah that’s fine. After about 15 minutes I noticed the two girls were just stood doing nothing, that’s when I realised the person who fry’s an egg wasn’t there. Eventually the egg frier came back and I got my burnt to a crisp egg half an hour after ordering. Went back In today at half 2 only because my 5 year old daughter likes to go in. Got my daughter a drink and a chocolate bar and then when I tried to order food the girl said there’s no hot food available it’s too late. The place doesn’t close for another 2 and half hours. Which again was strange as the girls were stood doing...

Like stepping back into the 90s, menu wise. Despite being in a fitness, centre right outside the gym, the food is just toasties, cakes, sweets and full Englishes (no veggie options) and fizzy drinks. Where are the smoothies, nutrient bowls, veggie options? There are enough basic cafes in Billingham, we didn't need this. Staff...

Just like the other comments state, is literally like a 90s cafe, every table was dirty the coffee was undrinkable and the scone was probably older than me.
