Visited with a couple of friends. Handed one of the staff a sandwich to toast for me, and asked to be given a minute for my friends to decide on their orders. The girl at the till (hiba?) was so impatient that she just kept demanding to know my order. i asked for a second to think and she wondered off. On her return, her repeated insistence to hear our order, even though my friends were clearly thinking, managed to stress me out so much that we were already flustered. worse still is that she wasn't listening to what we said, and we got one drink wrong, and she forgot two other items we asked for (thankfully we weren't charged for them either - goes to show how much attention she was paying).

without her this would have been fine, but unfortunately it was a rather stressful experience, which is kind of the opposite of what we went...

It’s on my route for work and only Costa drive thru. Been visiting last 2 years or so.

First year or so service was spot on and speed of getting through the drive through was excellent. Got to know drive thru staff and they were friendly and brilliant.

Things have gone somewhat downhill in last 8-12 months particularly the last 4-5 months. The biggest issue is length of time to get through the drive through. If on limited time it’s not worth going as you may get stuck.

I’m not sure if it’s a staffing issue as at times seems to be one person only on drive through and one at front of house.

I tend to drive on by rather than drive thru these days.
