Costa Coffee — Restaurant in England

I am or I should say was daily user of this store, often I would use this store multiple times a day for hot and cold drinks as well as food. I have always had nothing but the very best service from this store. I am today utterly sickened to the core to hear about the sacking of probably the best manager that this company could possibly have! Both of the managers have always gone above and beyond and worked harder than most individuals would be prepared to work. I have always felt that upper management take advantage of the extra hours and work that has been put in by the manager who was sacked today. I will no longer support this coffee shop until the manager in question has been reinstated. I will also stop advising our customers to visit as I often do most days. I am fully aware that I will not be the only customer who does this, the bulk of the customer base of this store are a community in itself, so please don't think that this won't affect your trade. I truly feel for all of the other staff members because this move was pure idiocy - you just as well close this coffee shop because it just went...

There is, of course, nothing wrong with this place. The service is fine, the food and drink good. However, I was saddened to find, on 26th August, that The Brittox Costa had closed the previous day. It was a cafe which held many memories for me. I used to stop there on my way to work every morning for a takeaway coffee. I also met a former colleague and mentee (who sadly died long before her time) there, and I found it a more intimate and atypical Costa outlet. I had visited it about a week before closure, being unaware that its demise was imminent. All things must pass, and I have no doubt that its business model was not as healthy as some town centre Costas, but it had a loyal following, not all of whom will be happy just to trek to the Market Square and frequent its more brand susceptible, but perfectly adequate,...

I just want to give everyone who was working in Costa Devizes this morning (Friday 1st November) a huge thank you, I was in with my son (2year old) for a coffee whilst waiting for the bus and had had a bad morning with him throwing tantrums and meltdowns in the town centre. I got chatting to Sara behind the counter and just burst out crying, after holding it in for so long, then each and every one of the members of staff were very attentive to me, gave me a complimentary brownie and water for my son to calm me down and went above and beyond to make sure I was looked after.
