Impressive!!

Walked past this place a few times, always thought it looked a bit worn down!!

Popped in for lunch and the place was packed, I mean staff were running around everywhere, lots of people having a good time, at lunch time!!

It was busy busy busy in there and the only tables left were the ones in the rear yard!! so that says something!

Great atmosphere, everyone was having a good time… I walked in there and there must have been a party or something cos all the old ladies were busting a move, trying to get a seat or find the best table.

They must had a function in their when we showed up or certainly a work due…

The ordering area can get congested, it’s close to the front door and somewhat of a hindrance when you’re queuing up to order with people coming and going!

But 5* all round, food was great, service was good! Drinks was even better although £3.50 for a Coke Zero needs to be reviewed!

Delicious food and great value too. We both had the full English Breakfast but ordered an extra rasher of bacon (just £1 extra) each from the list of extras. Even without the extra rasher of bacon I would have been full, so there's no way I could have taken on the larger breakfast. The food was delicious, plenty hot enough, and I think very good value.

The service was a little slow but then it was a very busy Sunday morning, and it was very close to lunch time, so we can't complain.

One thing I didn't like was that the surface of our table (no 19 upstairs) was very sticky, almost like it hadn't been cleaned very well. Everything seemed to stick to it, including the napkins, which wasn't very nice. My chair was also more than a little tired so it meant I had to sit forward right on the edge of it to get high enough to eat. We therefore took it in turns to sit on the low chair.

We'd definitely come back here, and I'd have given 5 stars if it hadn't been for the sticky table and...

It was nice would go there again . We had sandwiches and chips with side salad , freshly made and reasonably priced . Order and pay at the counter , CASH ONLY . Then its waitress service from there , our waitress was lovely . Unfortunately for us a large family with children turned up and took the central table in the small room , I was getting my chair knocked every time the woman got up (frequently) , and it just got too noisy with the kids and chairs being scraped on the wooden floors . *obvs no reflection on the coffee shop , just a people in general rant 🤷🏼‍♀️ * So we went and finished our (very nice) coffee outside at the tables out on...
