So it was my first time here & so I decided to take a shot in the dark with something 🆕....

You'd like to know more right ??? .... then please continue to read on :)

Absolutely fantastic place 👌 decor is brilliant throughout, the staff are very attentive & I was greeted with a smile & was seen & shown to to a table almost instantly with no wait, The place is massive, light & airy & the food is top notch I had the cowboy burger which was soo mouth watering with the beef brisket & streaky bacon, American cheese, an egg & jalapenos in the brioche bun was so tasty 🤤 as for my daughter & baby mum they both chose the chicken curry which yes I tried there's too aha & it was lovely with a nice mild spice to it & very creamy oh my daughter also had the Oreo milkshake which was very nice in this hot weather & not forgetting my baby mum had the elderflower cooler which was very refreshing too & I had a Henry Weston's & blackcurrant

--- so my server Sam went above & beyond & I simply can not fault his customer service it was 🔥 for sure, dog-friendly & kid friendly + they have a lush outdoor area too if you'd prefer to eat outside you can no worries my only gripe was the garlic bread tasted slightly stale & it was drenched in olive oil & the garlic was not there unfortunately it honestly tasted shop brought heyy it's not being marked down for that tho...

But if you want my honest opinion would I eat here again.....

All in all would I eat here again - a definite yes 100%

I don’t review too much but I feel this needs to be said.

Devizes needs somewhere that serves a healthier menu and a bit more youthful.

I have been here a few times and after a few meals felt that the service and price was not up to standard.

However today 10/08/23 my wife and I decided to go again to see if there were any improvements.

I am for a service background and when you have to scan a QR code o believe there is a time and a place for it. Personally I believe Devizes does not suit that.

Regardless our brunch came with the wrong toppings and the poached eggs on both meals were ice cold. My wife had one which was not completely cooked.

Our waiter took no responsibility for the change up and did not offer to get it sorted.

We were in a rush and hungry and decided to start eating. Only then did we notice the cold / underdone eggs.

Scrapped them off the top and eat the buns and shot off.

I don’t think we need to come here again.

Some side points from someone in the service industry.

Please do not request a tip prior to service. If service is good. That person makes sure it gets back to their waiter.

Take responsibility for wrong orders and sort it straight away.

A host at the door or a sign for the older generation to explain where to sit. We were not good to do anything and the bar staff ignored us.

Finally please get this right here as Devizes NEEDS a place like this.

The taste is there but the rest needs sorting.

I have been here three times. The first was at the end of summer and I sat in the garden and I had the chicken, bacon and avocado salad. I was very happy with it as it was presented lovely and tasted good.the second time I went in was about 7wks ago and I ordered the same meal. We waited 30mins for our drinks and I had to go to the bar and ask where our drinks were. It was very quiet in there as it was a Wednesday evening. When the food came it was nothing like the first time I had it. Actually it was quite awful. The chicken was coated in breadcrumbs and the bacon was just slapped on the plate in big rashers. Very off putting. I didn’t complain as I didn’t pay for the meal. I went in this evening for the 3rd time lucky experience with my children as I had promised them we would go in there to eat. Well what can I say. Again a long wait for food and drinks. There was a mix up with the order. The kids drinks came in a tacky plastic beaker and when the food came I was extremely dissatisfied. The chicken strips and chips looked horrendous. Also we didn’t get the humus, breadsticks and carrot sticks that was stated on the website? And I’m sorry but I have to say that two chefs came out of the kitchen and the mess of their uniforms was disgusting and filthy. I am extremely unhappy with yet again this disappointing experience as it is difficult to find somewhere local to go with children to eat. But I will say it’s back to Nando’s for us as a family. Much better experience there. It’s definitely not a place I will ever recommend to anyone looking for a nice evening out...
