Costa Coffee — Restaurant in England

WHAT A RIP OFF. I visited about a week ago whilst my wife was getting her nails done. had a sausage sandwich and a couple of coffee's. THEN RECEIVED £100 PARKING FINE FOR USING THEIR CAR PARK A FEW MINUTES TOO LONG!!!! I never even saw a parking notice for payments, or I obviously would not have waited there. TRIED PHONING BUT COSTA EXTORTION NO LONGER ALLOWS CONTACT BY PHONE, I TRIED THEIR WEBSITE CONTACT FORM BUT WON'T ALLOW YOU TO CHOOSE YOUR OWN DESCRIPTION, ONLY A CHOICE FROM DROPDOWN MENUE, WHICH DOES NOT INCLUDE MY QUEERY, YOU ONLY GET SENT TO A FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS PAGE. NOT ONLY DO THEY NOT PAY THEIR TAXES IN THIS COUNTRY, THEY EXTORT OUTRAGOUS SUMS OF MONEY FROM CUSTOMERS FOR USING...

I don’t normally leave reviews but after a difficult night the staff really made my morning. I am always greeted with a warm smile from whoever is behind the counter but this morning the gentleman who served me went above and beyond. While he was doing all his duties behind the counter, he still found the time to interact with my little boy. Making him laugh as he made the coffees and playing peekaboo as he stocked up. It was a really heartwarming experience and I’m grateful for his kindness. All the staff are very lovely, the place is always clean, busy rushes are handled with ease and the atmosphere...

Shocking service wouldn't mind if it was busy came down for some cake and coffee were only local and when come in serving one person at the time chatting away amongst the staff waiting for good ten minutes no acknowledgment of us waiting or that they will be with us soon or anything so we left as just rude service and long wait condering 3 staff serving one person and talking to each other and currently at the shildon one where we got served straight away by friendly staff

Been for second time and same problem no cue and all staff talking had to ask if any one gonna serve me ridiculous...
