Costa Coffee — Restaurant in England

Coffee is the second best find here. The best thing is the kids outdoor play area.

This place was a very second rate pub and everyone compander when it close down. I think it's a good thing as I have been the the Costa more times in 2 weeks, than I ever when in 6 years of living around here.

The coffee is as you expect

The cakes are the same as you get everywhere

The staff are just the same.

But the out door play area....well that is the best thing ever put in a coffee shop. You can seat down and let the kids play. Also it is very well kept and up to all standards.

I have been stopping at Costa Coffee in Datchet recently in the mornings before work, I used to work in a Costa Coffee for my first job and I spend A LOT of time in a lot of different Costa Coffees in the UK. I have only been in the Datchet Costa a couple of times, however even if it is very busy and only 2 staff are working, the service very quick! The staff are hugely polite and friendly. I easily get annoyed with a service in the mornings if it is not efficient and I have places to be. Stopping for Costa at the Datchet shop is always pleasant, you get your caffeine fix and are likely to come...

Ewelina and her staff are amazing. Friendly, professional and the coffee is always made to a high standard. Although I don’t live in Datchet, I will happily drive there most days as they treat their customers with genuine warmth.

What puzzles me though is why the outside area at the rear is not used hardly. A lot of passersby and cyclists often stop but go away as it’s either too busy or there is a lack of sitting. There is quite a bit of room and if new and updated furniture were invested I can see a lot of customers using this area and it would attract new customers especially...
