Costa Coffee — Restaurant in England

This is my 2nd visit to the store , I took out 3 elderly ladies for some afternoon tea and cake. When I come back from France I always take them somewhere. The 1st visit the staff couldn't have been more helpful , thoughtful and caring. Nothing was to much trouble , and so this time the Golden girls wanted to go there again. They remembered us from before , and all of the staff were lovely , made a fuss of the ladies , and we had a laugh and they loved it. Thank you all so much , a lot of places could learn some lessons from you. We will be back...

Couldn't physically take a seat or even see where the queue was meant to be. Absolutely packed only an hour after opening, have reduced seating for social distancing by closing off entire sections rather than just distancing the tables themselves? Means certain areas were completely packed and then piled chairs in an area people could actually social distance in. A shame, we couldn't even eat here even after we left it 30 - 45 minutes, was...
