Costa Coffee — Restaurant in England

I visited this afternoon, was initially told they were at full capacity so I was happy to go shopping and come back later but was called back as they found a table for us. Everyone was working extremely hard behind the counter under a lot of pressure. I would like to mention Barry in particular as I heard a couple of customers shout at him and storm off due to there being no tables etc but he kept being polite to everyone and was making sure all customers were safe. Dissapointed today I had to ask for my coffee to be warmed up ,and was asked...did I ask for extra hot ?...no I just wanted a hot coffee the two toasted sandwiches we ordered were cooked on one side but not on the other both pale toast on one side .the table needed clearing and the whole feeling of being there has changed and the toilet area was smelling the last thing I want to do is leave this kind of review but things need to change and customers need to feel wanted and looked after especially with...

Costa coffees are generally pretty simple however coffee was burnt, so tasted quite bitter and in a "skinny" coffee, was provided will full fat milk.

My issue with the food is that my girlfriend is coeliac. The gluten free options are few and far between. The only options were a tiny packed brownie which was around £3. So if you're gluten free, I wouldn't consider looking for a snack at Costa. I did ask the staff at the counter but her response was "it is what it is, we've only got...
