KFC Burtonwood - M62 East Services — Restaurant in England

Although there were plenty of empty tables, we struggled to find one that was clean! We were also not happy with the price. The prices are much more than at other restaurants. Wouldn't mind so much if the food served and the quality of service, matched the premium charged for dining at a service station. This is the second time we have stopped here on our way home and the tables are always dirty. The first time, I asked a nice friendly server to clean a table for us. On this last visit however, my food was thrust at me by a server who was neither helpful nor friendly and gave me no time to ask about cleaning a table or for a cloth so I could clean one myself, before she had disappeared. KFC is generally my choice of fast food. Although I don't usually eat at this one. It's just that we had a long drive home and the children were hungry, so despite our reservations, we decided to stop at this service station for food. To our disappointment, the restaurant has not improved, it has got worse. I won't be eating there again and I can't...

Well 4 times I've been there this week ,2 were reasonable , 2 weren't, first off all I got shushed at by the member of staff an told to wait has delivery drivers have priority, the food was OK...then today I paid at the machine ..I got no receipt, so I had to wade through the ten or so people waiting, the girl eventually got round to me an sorted it out , the food again wasn't great, I'm glad to see that the chicken has got its crunch back, but the beans were dry and gluggy , the chips were poor you'd need a scaffolding to get them from drooping...after many visits over the last 2 years doing covid wards an being a covid response team , I find that KFC are beginning to loose there sparkle ...you asked for a true fair description so...

Once order was placed and food getting ready witnessed staff holding the assembled box up to their face and talking into it at point blank , had to be told to replace the box ,also to put it into the bin instead of just setting it aside for another unfortunate customer, wouldn't rate hygiene at all , food order was supposed to be a bonless fillet box with one piece and instead got two coated sinew grease fat and bone pieces. Staff then proceed to have a good giggle about their actions. Senior staff would be better setting an example instead of joining in with such behaviour , more hospitality training...
