Costa Coffee — Restaurant in England

Absolutely awful. The lady running behind the counter was extremely rude to both staff and customers. I requested a black forest hot chocolate as displayed on the board and was rudely told that they don't have the seasonal specials in they're gone they're gone. I then ordered small hot chocolate with no cream but was charged for cream anyway. I questioned the price and was told I had to pay 50p for cream. I said I hadn't ordered cream on it and she shouted at the girl who took my order so i told her to just give me what I'd paid for. She was complaining loudly to the younger two colleagues about the shift working the previous night and how dreadful they were was abrupt with all the costumers whilst throwing crockery about. Coffee always good.Have not been in her for a while and was surprised with the attitude of the manageress working there. She was loud, and very rude to her staff. Who on this occasion were mainly young girls. She was telling them off , very loudly and embarrassing them in front of customers. There was absolutely no need for her attitude and behaviour. In fact she was not nice at all. When I had a word with her, she started banging the equipment she using about. Very professional I don't think. I used to love going in there. But I will be using another one in Crewe from now on. She definitely needs to be spoken to by top management. The friends I were with will be giving it a miss...

Went to Costa on the 21/05/2023 at around 3:30pm and was served by the most unprofessional staff member I have come across. I am not too sure of the name but she had dark hair working on the till and was being very disrespectful about her colleague who was working very hard making everyone's drinks. This staff member was talking about how drunk she is and how many drinks she's had the night before and how her old workplace was much better than this. There were others in the queue waiting for their drinks making faces and in shock of this staff members unprofessional behaviour. Sadly I will not be returning...
