Costa Coffee — Restaurant in England

The Costa Coffee in Corby is right at the edge of Willow Place Shopping Centre opposite Primark.

We arrived just before nine, and it was very quiet. I ordered a large cappuccino, and it was delicious. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

We were delighted with the Costa cappuccino! ☕️😄 The moment it arrived, I was captivated by its alluring layers. The rich aroma of freshly brewed espresso danced with the sweet, creamy scent of steamed milk and the frothy, airy foam on top. 🤤☕️🥛

With the first sip, I was treated to a symphony of flavours. The espresso was a bold and exquisite harmony of chocolatey richness and hints of nutty undertones. It played perfectly against the velvety smoothness of the steamed milk, creating a delightful contrast that was both comforting and refreshing. ☕️🍫🥛

And let's not forget that milk foam! 😍🥰 Its lightness added a playful element to each sip, making the experience exceptional. The foam's airy texture was a perfect counterpoint to the intense flavours below, leaving me with a smile and a warm feeling inside.

However, the cakes, on the other hand, do tend to be quite dry, I would have expected this if it were the end of the day, but the coffee shop wasn't even open for an hour, and the cakes were already dry.

The toilets are by a pin which you get through your receipt, and there are toilets upstairs...

July 2022 - Dog mess.. I ordered a latte, a frappe and 2 cakes at 3pm through uber eats.. The latte was out of stock so chose another.. out of stock.. changed again. In stock.. it Gave me a delivery time of 3.35pm time.. changed to 3.40,3.45,3.50, then 4.15.. sat until 4pm waiting, the app stated they have been "preparing order" since 3pm.. how hard is it?? I went on Google and it says closes at 4.30pm..

At 4.05pm they answer phone to say its been ready for an hour and a half and no one has came to pick it up. Absolute liars. I didn't even order it an hour and a half ago ir was an hour..she was quick to explain how to get a refund..sounds like this is their normal procedure..we cancelled.

Then the app said someone is collecting my order.. I rang the shop and she said its fine he came and she told him we cancelled.

Then app said someone else was on the way to my address. I rang uber eats and the cancelled it completely.

Joke of a service. Costa should just stick to in store or drive through.....

Absolutely disgusted. Like many of us my family has struggled during the pandemic and I understand that employees would be under pressure, especially when they once again will undergo lockdown tomorrow for another month; however that does not excuse the disregard of courtesy that what I assume is the manager who was on duty this afternoon had. He respectably so ended up enforcing social distancing between customers, which I can respect; however what i cannot respect is when it is done in a cold and malice attitude to then turn around to his colleague who was serving to make a statement looking down on us all like we were children. Other customers were clearly not happy and when I decided to leave other customers called out on it to point out that they are loosing customers for their rude attitude. If that was one of the management then he should be sacked as we are customers, whom are to be served with respect, not throw our money at an already expensive establishment to be spoken to in...
