Costa Coffee — Restaurant in England

Because of the fear of catching Omicron, the new Covid variant, I wanted to collect my order. I was outside, to take some fresh air, with my baby. It was cold. I did not want to wait. I ordered my coffee from the Costa app. Then I started to wait for it outside of the Costa coffee shop. After 8 min I went in the shop but it was not ready. It was crowded so I did not want to wait inside. Then I checked the app for an information. But there was nothing. Then my baby felt hungry. I needed to feed him. I fed him outside. Then I realised it had been very long time to get my coffee. It had been nearly half an hour! I went back to the shop and did not see my coffee on the collection table. Unfortunately it was very crowded inside and too risky for us. Some of the customers were not wearing mask! I excused the people in the queue and reached to a staff to ask about my order. She said that they could not see the orders on the screen! Told me to order there! I told what was my order and finally grabbed my coffee! One of the staff gave the flakes in a cup separately and then gave the coffee. I tried to carry two cups while trying to push the stroller. It was a very bad...

Popped into the Costa next to Dunelm after a bit of browsing—and honestly, it was just what I needed. It’s one of those conveniently placed spots that feels more like a pit stop at first, but it turned out to be a surprisingly decent place to relax for a moment.

The vibe was calm and low-key, not too busy when I went in, which made it a welcome break from the usual bustle. There’s a decent amount of seating, and it felt clean and well-kept—always appreciated when you're trying to catch your breath between errands.

Service was friendly and quick. My order (a flat white and a veggie-friendly snack) came out promptly, and everything was hot and fresh. It’s standard Costa fare, but sometimes that’s exactly what you want—reliable, comforting, no fuss.

Very nice staff on my visit helpfull quick responsive two way communication 👏 Coffee flat white x2 breakfast raps x2 all piping hot and just as pictures show. I have mobility issues I was just about to ask a staff member to carry my order to table. But didn't get the chance to as I was told to take a seat and my order would be brought to a table of my choice. Wonderful understanding I don't want to ask I want to be treated just the same as everyone else! not having any embarrassment! having to ask infront of a que! Or then the mumbling and complaints by the que that go with helping someone 🙄 I found the choice of seats left to my own choice amazed us. As normally at other well nown Coffee shop- restaurants.
