Flavourz — Restaurant in England

Really modern restaurant. Good food and efficient staff. Reasonably priced. Takeaway food can take precedence though.I think the welcome you get there now is great and the staff really take time to talk to you.If your not sure what to order they will help you.They have started to build up quite a few regulars now so it's well worth booking ahead.They have recently given the restaurant a refurb and it's looking really good with more seating added.We have recently ate at Flavourz as we normally do if we have time at the weekend and the Restaurant and staff still excellent.One thing to mention is the parking,not a great deal outside the restaurant but you may sneak into one of the sidestreets.I guess this is what happens when you get popular.It has changed again recently with new decor,table lamps and a loyalty scheme. Flavourz has exceeded my expectations very popular place booked after being recommended (Glad we booked) as the place was packed the Atmosphere was very cossy and homely nevertheless this must be a walk in the park for the team as service was great. Met with co owner “Jay” what a wonderful ambitious young man full of character and passion for his business was shown. Food order taken followed by drinks and poppadoms. Starters were fresh and light but the show of the night was “Railway Lamb” followed with lemon fried rice i have had this dish before previously but it gets better every time bursting with flavours potatoes and tender bits of lamb. Everything else flowed nicely. Dinning experience was there with other top tier restaurants in Shropshire. Only critism is portions may be abit on the healthy side but very reasonably priced.

We were pressured into having £15.95 deal on a Sunday. We wanted to have items that were not in that deal so just wanted to be charged the normal price. However we were told that they could upgrade the main dish and still pay the same price. It was a lie and we ended up paying £10 on top for the upgrade. We have used this restaurant many times before but will not be going again or recommending it to friends. I do not appreciate being lied to and paying £50 for a meal I was expecting to pay £40 for including diet cokes and spinach. Very disappointed.
