Cream Curls - Widnes — Restaurant in England

Order very late no apology. Contacted twice and didn’t update delivery time on Uber app. Then I had asked for it to be left at my door, I live on first floor very small flight of stairs and left a note that I’d leave a good tip if they’d be so kind. I did say otherwise please leave inside the door. Most drivers call Me and tell me the code I’ve given them isn’t working it’s just four digits and it opens has never not worked in three yrs. Some are kind and bring it up and I give them a good tip. This driver didn’t even say sorry he was so late. I have a baby and I’m on my own so that why I ask for it to be brought to the door if possible incase I’m with baby sometimes I can’t put her down if she’s woken up and then would then have to bring her out of the house down the stairs and it was very late. Anyway when I got the order the person packing had placed each item on its side in the bag! All had fallen all over the place. Cheesecake had melted and was a creamy liquid all over the box not even resembling cheesecake. Not giving me the option to leave a review on Uber so doing it here and I’ll be contacting a Uber and Cream Curls. Just stupidity to pack items like that and to take so long that one had melted into oblivion plus lying so that he didn’t have to come into the building whatsoever. I get it most times and they think you are stupid. Why not be honest and say I can’t...

Normally I would sing the praises of this restaurant, but sadly this latest order has blown my good praise out of the water for good. Firstly, the order was late: and by that, I mean significantly late (estimated between 8.33 pm and 8.55 pm - arrived at 9.55 pm even though their delivery states it arrived at 8.40 pm). The delivery driver was polite and apologetic and no blame should be placed on him. I called the restaurant twice. Each time I was told the delivery was "on its way" and when I enquired as to the delay the second time, the gentleman on the other end of the phone just hung up. I have never left a negative review in my life. I usually just put it down to driver error or some other excuse but the food wasn't even correct. And it was barely warm. Please don’t be put off by all the bad reviews , we have ordered form here multiple times like all restaurants sometimes they have days when they are very busy and struggle to get orders out quick so can take longer than expected but the food is immaculate every time , always hot fresh and very tasty , everytime we have recommended to a friend they have ended up loving it too , I think people just forget to give a good review everyone once in a while but always make sure to leave a bad review 🙄,however 10/10 everytime for us always amazing deals and prices , I recommend the loaded chicken strip fries with garlic Mayo and mozzarella , the spicy chicken bites , Donner wraps,...
