Where do I begin?!
Ordered a couple of large pizzas for delivery. The pizzas didn't seem to be the right size when delivered and as sad as it sounds I decided to measure the sizes. Turns out we received two medium size pizzas instead.
When we called to inform the store that they sent the wrong sizes the rude woman on the phone argued with us that she wouldn't do anything about it. Domino's website states that a large pizza is 13.5 inches, however she kept arguing that the size of the pizzas starts off as 13.5 inches but shrinks to 11.5 when cooked and delivered, however this absolutely not how it works at all! She wouldn't listen to us, was rude, abrupt and kept cutting us off when trying to explain.
I offered the pizzas back to her in exchange for the correct sizes we ordered but she point blank refused. I asked her for the head of office number to call someone about the issue and she gave us a FAKE number. So we had to ring back to get the real number. This woman claimed her name was Jade and is the manager of the branch, we have no idea if this is in fact true since she lied about the head office number.
I contacted customer support about the incident, and they even said that what she did was infact wrong and didn't follow proper procedure. They told me she should have done something to rectify the problem and the incorrect pizzas should of been sent back in exchange for the correct sized ones.
When you purchase a pizza that is advertised as 13.5 inches in size, you expect to receive it that size. Funnily enough I called the town centre branch to ask the question of whether or not a large pizza should turn up as 13.5 inches and not 11.5 and the employee there, verified to me that it should turn up as the 13.5 advertised.
For someone who claims to be a manager of a branch, the amount of stress this caused for us and the disgusting tone of her was appalling!
Good thing I didn't let this go as if she got away with this stunt, how many other people could of been miss sold incorrect pizza sizes for this branch to profit off of?!
The area manager was sent round to investigate this matter. All calls are recorded for training and monitoring purposes so they can hear for themselves how we was spoken to.
Avoid this branch at all costs. We was given a £20 voucher for this inconvenience...
Read moreWent in to collect an order for my son and was in there 10 minutes before anyone even asked me what I was there for. My son's order was on the screen and it said ready now. 5 more minutes passed before someone asked me what I was there for. I told them the name of the order and they said okay. 5 minutes later, the guy I had said okay to me was just carrying on with doing something else and I said, excuse me, is the order ready? He said, ah yes, sorry. Then proceeded to get my order together. Absolute shambles and to not acknowledge me when I came in was just rude. There was other names on the list and they all said ready, but I was the only one there (guess the others were delivery orders possibly?). It takes nothing to stop for a second and say can I help you. Need to sort out the customer service as far as I'm concerned. Also the guy getting the pizza's ready, did not wash his hands when after preparing the next pizza. He picked various toppings from chicken, pepperoni, sweetcorn and others to go on a pizza, then went straight to the dough to make another different pizza. When he picked the sweetcorn, it was clearly in some water dripping as he put it on the pizza so his hands were wet. No gloves used at all and the man was as hairy as Cousin IT from The Adams Family. Think they need some hygiene lessons, or maybe allergen awareness course would be good. God help it if you are a vegan getting a pizza and he picks up chicken for a previous order and doesn't wash his hands as hey lays your veggie option pizza. Sort it...
Read moreWe have been getting pizzas from Dominoes for years but I fear not anymore ! We rang up to order and have it delivered as we live some distance away. The lady on the phone seemed to be having a lot of difficulty understanding our order which was 2 x small ( personal) 4 slice pizzas , one pepperoni and the other a plain margarita, 2 garlic breads and some wedges. The lady hadn’t heard of a personal 4 slice pizza and said we could have a 6 slice one instead ? We tried again to order our personal pizzas ( which we’ve ordered for years), but she couldn’t order it for us ! and was becoming a little irate. In the end we decided to settle for a six slice because we were getting frustrated and hungry. When it came to paying before as soon as the phone was answered they knew who we where And took the order easy, now you have to leave your mobile number, they send a link to pay , er no thanks so when the food arrived (which to be fair was in good time) we paid cash ! When we checked out the food my pizza had no pepperoni on it Grrrrr. By this time we were so tired and frustrated by our experience we couldn’t be bothered to ring Dominic’s to complain we just ate...
