Elda Pizzeria — Restaurant in England

Went for garlic bread instead of chips—big mistake. It was hard, flavourless, and stale. The pizzas were disappointing, especially for the premium price.

The Mariana sauce on the Carni lacked depth. Given the hype in Selby, it fell short of expectations.

There seems to be a theme of lack of flavour.

Doesn't help that somehow for a pizza it took 2 hours from ordering to delivery.

Even the dirty mayo, unsure what addition seasoning is added to make it 'dirty' as just felt it was normal mayo, would be a good suggestion to maybe change it to garlic mayo?

Tried dining in twice when it claimed to be open online (both weekday and weekend) but found it closed, so we settled for takeaway.

Just been here on a busy Saturday night. 40 minute wait for first saucer of food. Other 3 came randomly. Although the food tasted good, was so very disappointed by the lack of food on the saucers for the price we paid. 1 small chipolata and 2 polenta chips for £8. Sorry but WAY overpriced. Although staff were attentive, we chose to leave no tip(putting customers on the spot as they leave to saying yes or no to a tip is not a good thing to do) but that was because we left feeling still extremely hungry but were not prepared to pay for any more very small dishes. Sorry but will not be frequenting this establishment again. Unless you're prepared to pay £50 to £100 for a few morsels, and we only had water as the drinks are way too expensive(£4.95 for a bottle...

What a nightmare. Tried to go a few times. Could only find the text message number to book which was no good for our older relatives, who would rather call. No response when texted. Turned up once and the waitress said there was only her working and she wasn’t accepting any tables. Went back again this weekend with my in-laws for a glass of wine. One waitress said we were only allowed a drink with food, and then the second send they were only accepting pre-booked tables only and they had people coming in later. There was not a single customer in at this point. Also less than idea for a ‘wine bar’.

Tried three times, failed three times. Don’t think we will be faffing about trying...
