Fish 2 Go — Restaurant in England

Stopped here for some fish and chips..I chose a piece of Rock (medium) and a small chips..along with a medium cod and chips and a medium haddock and chips .premises are clean ...the staff are friendly..we got there not long after opening so there was about a 10 minute wait ..that wasn't a problem. There's seats/chairs there to sit and wait a good choice of fish small to large then there savaloys,sausages fish cakes etc..also puckked eggs ,gherkins and pickled onions on tge counter..when our order was ready the guy behind the counter called out the order he also told us that he had written what each of the wrapped fish .. Fish to Go, my go to fish & chip shop. I travel from Hawkwell to Manners Way, passing 4 other fish & chip shops on the way. Fresh, beautifully cooked fish in a light crunchy batter, golden tasty double cooked chips crispy on the outside fluffy on the inside. You can have fish cooked your way or even grilled. Very good menu range and with all the traditional extras, mushy peas, wallys and pickled eggs. At Fish to go, they appreciate quality, even the battered sausages are a treat. Well managed with smiley helpful staff. Fridays are very busy, and hectic, expect to wait....

Food is always good but I WONT BE RETURNING. The service however is AWFUL. SIX people ordered AFTER me and got their order first. Now I understand that somethings need cooking fresh but the young front of house staff are clueless. When I asked how long my order would be one of them said sorry we’ve run out of chips !
