Favorite Chicken & Ribs Southend — Restaurant in Great Britain

We used to enjoy ordering takeaway from this place back when they were on Just Eat - however recently, even though they are still listed, I haven't been able to place an order there. After tonight's experience I have my suspicions as to why!

Since we really fancied some of their chicken anyway, I decided to sign up on their website and order directly from there. It still promised delivery within 45-60 minutes, which is pretty much the same as they used to offer on Just Eat.

One and a half hours later, I decided to call them to ask if anything was wrong as we still had no food, just to be told in a curt manner "it's on its way" - not even as much as an attempt at an explanation for why things had taken this long.

Nearly TWO hours later, the food finally arrived... but as the icing on the cake, they then wanted payment at the door, even though I had ALREADY paid online. Only after much arguing back and forth was our food finally handed over, after I had offered to print out a copy of the PayPal receipt for the driver. Yet even after that we didn't even get as much as an apology.

In hindsight, I wonder if they had trouble finding my payment since on the receipt my name was misspelled to the point of being completely unrecognisable - which is quite impressive, considering that I had ordered online and obviously entered my own name correctly.

Definitely my most bizarre takeaway experience ever - the only reason for the second star is that the food itself was still nice. Still, I won't be going through all THAT trouble for a bit of...

Haven't been here for a while and seemed to be under new management since my last visit , the young guy was too busy trying to chase my order on so he could continue to chat with some friends, from the confusion my order took ages to get done as he didn't pass on to the others working , then ended up doing it himself, the burgers were fillet when I had paid for tower plus meals I had to go back as he hadn't put the extra chicken in and promptly started arguing with me in front of other customers that it was in the bag, then remembered it was in the hot cupboard, passed it onto me no apologies or even acknowledgement, I've always preferred favourite chicken to the other well know brand but chicken wasn't good, no salt with the chips and the coleslaw tasted like it had been around for a while, I won't be going back to this...

Never gonna order here again. What happened is that last Friday we ordered a meal waited nearly 2 hours we then called them up and they said they have the order but haven’t seen the receipt for two hours which made us late to where we going to. We then told them to cancel the order but they haven’t cancelled the order as it says on my just eat app that it was delivered but it wasn’t delivered at all. We asked for a refund and they said they will gonna sort it out.

The next day we still haven’t got results from them, so we called them up saying about what happened last night and they said to call in 30 minutes and hang up. Waited for 30 minutes to call them up and they said that we need to phone just eat and it’s now “under investigation”

Felt like this store and just eat is inconsiderate, considering I still haven’t...
