New Indya — Restaurant in England

Girlfriend and I had chicken tikka masala expecting it to be very mild as stated in menu but had quite a kick. With that I found 2 hairs, that were neither my girlfriends nor mine, in my dish whilst eating which had put me off the food.

They had overbooked tables so others were waiting around putting pressure on us to leave. The bill we received at the end didn't even come with a total at the end until we asked someone. Service was not very responsive and had to wait for a considerable amount of time...

Fantastic Indian restaurant. They also provide a take away and delivery service. There are numerous choices to suit every palate from the novice to the more experienced. The quality of the cuisine is outstanding.BYO alcohol makes this an economical treat. The team maintain the fine balance of friendly whilst extremely professional. I always enjoy my meals here whether just the two of us or part of a larger meal. I have never felt rushed either to order or to finish a meal. I would highly recommend...

Not much to look at from the outside and the inside isn’t much to write about either, but the service was prompt and the food was hot, tasty and served promptly.

Ordered : CT dhansak Special rice Mattar paneer 1x Diet Coke.

Good sized portions. Dhansak was tasty with a nice heat about it. Chicken a little dense but not horrible. Matter paneer was completely melted and so stringy it was difficult to eat. Not ideal or as expected for this dish.
