VERY mediocre, more so UNORGANISED! In desperate need of a FOH or Duty Manager! My family and I were firstly greeted by a young member of staff who asked if we had a reservation which we did. We said we had booked for 4, but then seated us with only 3 menus? This was just the start. Shortly we were then greeted by an Italian chap who was really friendly and very attentive. Took our food& drinks order and advised us about the salad bar. Then ushered us to the salad bar which seemed a little pointless. Why waste staff and time by having them dish out the salad bar?? After we were seated with our salad bowls, No drinks to be seen so we contacted the bar. A total of 20+ minutes before our drinks arrived and when they did they happened to be incorrect! After the confusion we disregarded two out of four drinks and simply asked for a bottomless soft drink. Now for our main meals. We could start to see an accumulation of several main meals on the counter top but lots of staff whizzing around and ignoring them. Where’s the typical “service” shout from the chefs. These meals were sat on the service shelf for 15+ minutes and we were praying these weren’t ours as they would be getting cold… After a couple of staff members clocked these dishes had been left there, they were in fact our mains! Just our luck! Thankfully our mains were still satisfactorily hot but the side of onion rings was stone cold. No surprise there! I don’t know what is quite wrong with this harvester but there seems to be ZERO organisation. I am unsure if there is a particular system or process or even a Front of House Manager/Duty Manager. I also feel having a member of staff dish out the salad bar is a complete waste of staff/time and an hourly wage. This could be spent on a team member serving tables or taking orders or helping in the kitchen! Harvester you need to address the issues of organisation in this branch. I will not be retuning until you do.

Mixed experience. We were a group of mixed ages and meat eaters and vegans. Salad bar good, but we do miss the pineapple. Enjoyed the chickpea and barley, and the other fresh veg etc was all good. The bread rolls go down well but there is no gluten free option. The meat eaters had beef burgers, halloumi and squid. All enjoyed. There is a very limited choice for vegans. Fake chicken with either flatbread or in soft tacos or the common impossible burger. 2 members ordered the vegan burgers. They were stacked with completely inedible hash browns cooked so hard you could build a house with them. Fake cheese is rarely pleasant and was unfortunately not noticed on menu as print so small. Scrapped off and reconstructed. To be honest you'd be better off going to burger king across the road if you want a vegan burger for half the price. If you're vegan probably best just order large salad plate from here. The server was lovely and she did offer to replace hash browns but we would have finished by the time they turned up so didn't bother.

Haven’t been here for a long time, it’s clean enough, the serving staff are very friendly the two guys we had serving us couldn’t be more friendly and helpful absolutely brilliant. However can’t say the same for the front of house guy whom I assume was the manager. The food was good the kids had good time I was a bit annoyed with the arrangement and found they could have done this better. We booked for breakfast with Santa for 11:30 only to be told once we got there Santa was leaving in 15 minutes and breakfast was stopping at 11:45. I can’t understand why take a booking for 11:30 if you can’t meet the expectations, instead the kids saw Santa and we stayed for lunch. If you’re having the ribs be mindful you will get more bone than meat it’s no where near the ribs I’m used to. On the whole it was busy a steady turn over not bad if you like the harvester, the salad was good and their understand if allergens is very good.

Well, we arrived and wait at the balcony a waitress approached us and seams all ok leading us to a table when I asked the grupon menu, not the ones she go it. She said “oh oh ok” turned and picked the grupon menu instead. She turn and see other waitresses and sadly asked her to take us to the table and just turn the back. The waitress did not understand what was happening and back to the computer to check table available I guess and not even a word to us. I looked at the first waitress and she realised I notice her behaviour and clearly I was not happy so she said with a smile “I have to say good buy to the dog ahahahaha” I didn’t find funny. We sat and started look for the menu and waitress was nice hole time. I asked a 8z steak medium rare, I been asked about sauce if I would like some sauce I didn’t know I had to pay for it so I said yes can be. I though was the same like chilly sauces or maionese sauces or black paper spices I don’t know but at the end I have to pay for it, 2£ extra and I barely touch it. But I was offered and I said yes. No way she mention I have to pay for that. Other situation was my steak was apparently a 10z size and just at the end and after o finished I been told they make a mistake and o have 5£ extra to pay. I was not happy and I said was not my mistake and I have not realize at all the size was extra 5£ I order from Groupon menu. She said “was my mistake I pressed the wrong button, are you happy to pay or talk to my maneger” I was happy to say “talk to your manager”. She look very upset and even body language very agitated. She came back and give me a bill with out the 5£ extra. When she gave us the exchanged she not even say thank you or bye or have a nice day or apologise anything . She clearly look very upset with us. Again her service was very good she is a good waitress but can’t deal with this situations. I felt uncomfortable and guilty for not pay the extra 5£ but I was already paying for the 2£ extra for a sauce I didn’t know I had to pay. It’s not ok if a mistake happen and client have to pay for it. We left and I don’t think we...

What a sad affair. I had the haddock and chips. Chips looked and tasted as if they were cooked hours before and kept in a hot cupboard the fish batter was so thin It may as well not been on the fish. The lemon wedge was so dry it must have been days old with pips in and pith. Salad was as shocking browning lettuce dry cucumber tomatoes all sad I bet it has been prepared days in advance. The 5 bean salad sat in a pool of juice straight out of the tin. Surely these should have been rinsed before putting out. As I looked over to friends tucking into there mixed grill the sausages most certainly were from breakfast time and reheated. Garden peas all the shades of green and grey. Reheated with new ones added. And if you get the soft drink refill you would be disappointed i went up for for a refill the machine states try something different I thought I would go for the cherry Pepsi to find that it was just Pepsi. I did not want to make a fuss at the time as we went for a celebration meal and didn't want to cause a fuss at the time. There is nothing I could have said at the time that could have been put right at the time so I just endured it. But felt disgruntled enough to complain here. I was not expecting the food to be of a high end restaurant but I did expect fresh and wholesome food considering the prices More to my disappointment was when I went to use the mens toilet. You knew you were in a pub the plaster was coming away from the walls and the carpet on entry was worn away to the point you could see the backing. I know this might sound poor however the ladies and young girl who served us were friendly and helpful I would suggest they found a better job in a better enviroment... overall what a shame Would I visit again No Way. Maybe Harvester manager actually check everything before service. Because I would have had the chefs and use the word chefs very loosely explaine what they...
