Flame & Stone Pizza — Restaurant in England

It's great to have a place in town that cooks the pizzas in a traditional way with a thin base but I think they've gone in the wrong direction with trying to emulate American-style pizzas (AKA Domino's) rather than going Italian-style.

I'm referring to choices like meat-feast and flamin-hot and also the obligatory garlic dip. The reason Domino's do this is because they know their pizzas are horrible and it distracts from the absent flavour. I'd also echo Kristina Ball's comments that the ingredients were pretty bland.

So I'm still excited to see a proper pizza place in town but I'd like to see them go more traditional with the menu and also source some fresher ingredients.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND The pizza is immense, delicious when it arrives hot and just as good the next day from the fridge, infact, I order extra so we have leftovers. Warning, you may never what to eat crap thick crust pizza again after trying Flame&Stone. Not only that but they recently got new grills and kebab spits that the kind owner showed me just as they had them installed, and now they do immense kebabs, wraps and burgers. And always friendly drivers and good phone manner from the shop. The whole family is always happy when we order here. I always order a make your own with sausage, peperoni, olives and onions, my only complaint is that its not on the menu but hopefully will be soon. Thankyou Flame&Stone for many...

I recently tried the grilled chicken burger and the pizza, and both were fantastic! The grilled chicken burger was quite big, making it a hearty meal. The juicy chicken was grilled to perfection, and the flavors were spot on. The meat combo burger was also impressive, packed with a variety of delicious meats that complemented each other well.

As for the pizza, it was equally delightful. The crust was perfectly baked, and the toppings were generous and flavorful. The combination of ingredients made each bite enjoyable.
