Not brilliant at all. Popped in as read the reviews and thought would be a great place to get some food. Walked in and asked if still did lunch as near 2pm and just got a yes from the lady behind the bar. I then mentioned that maybe I was cutting it fine as near 2pm but then she explained the times of food service. I picked nachos at £7.50 with extra avocado for £1.00. £8.50 in total. Wow. I think I was just bent over the bar and had my trousers pulled down. While it looked ok the cheese was anaemic and didn't taste of cheese. No flavour. The avocado was absolutely piping hot to the point I couldn't eat it straight away. When it cooled it was just soggy. Who eats microwaved avocado?? No rings left down the glass. Didn't...
Read moreAbsolutely fantastic!! We have enjoyed drinks and meals over the last few months leading us to book the private venue room upstairs. The manager Greta is amazing at ensuring all your requirements are met and all the team are brilliant. I highly recommend visiting whether just for a few drinks or meals, the Sunday roasts are simply the best and great quality at a very reasonable price. Or if you’re looking for a private function room definitely check it out as the room has recently been decorated to a high standard and honestly the team take over and ensure you’re well looked after and all your needs are met. Huge thank you to Greta and all the team for making Grace’s day a...

An abundance of mushrooms and tomatoes At a very reasonable £10. My wife had a superb pizza, vegetarian that would have earnt the respect of Neapolitan pizzeria; thin, light base, generous, interesting topping.
We were made to feel welcome in an unobtrusive, down to earth way, by the locals.
A great selection of well kept beers. The only red wine on offer, a good robust Shiraz.
Clean, but "pubby", I wish I lived around the corner rather than 80 miles away.
Thanks for the generous...
