Frydays of Kettering — Restaurant in England

I Live in Earls Barton… & have frequented this Establishment on & off over The Yrs. A Lovely Asian Family both runs & owns it. & there Tea & Coffee is instant. I would love to give 5 Stars. But they are alas very slow on cooking. I then had to tell them off. Because they were so goddanm LONG With My Order. As I was in-between buses as usual @ the time. & didn’t have all that long. Until my next X4 Bus then Arrived to take me back home. It was an BITINGLY COLD Day!!! Exactly 2 Weeks Ago Today. & the mother said that my Order will be with me within the next 10 Mins. It arrived within 10 Mins as Promised. :) but I then had like only 5 Mins until my next bus was due to arrive. So I then had to literally wolf down my food & which I don’t like doing. & then went for my bus. & Alas as ever it was either Delayed or Cancelled out? I then rushed back to Frydays. & Alas she hadn’t gotten around to cleaning my table. So I could then finish off my Breakfast & Cup of Tea in Comfort… Keep up The Good Work...

Went here while in Kettering for shopping been here several times in the past food is always fantastic lovely portions not too expensive staff are friendly helpful and in advisory capacity when undecided about certain dishes. Seating outside is limited as that is where the smokers sit but I've enjoyed chips and a diet Coke outside on several occasions in the sunny weather. Toilet area is clean and tidy no mess or damage sitting area is well laid out plenty of space stuff always on hand to help with mobility and that is a good thing to see in this day and age very well recommended if you're in Kettering and you love your fish and chips. That's also part of the building on the main road where you can go in like a regular chip shop if you're just going to get it and then...

Most of my reviews are negative because most experiences are when it comes to getting good quality, tasty food. At last I can write a positive review. Me and my dad went there just after covid restrictions were lifted. A very clean establishment possibly a bit clinical and plain decor compared to what it was like back in the bagshaws days. The food really was outstanding. We had fish and chips and it was honestly the tastiest fish n chips I've had probably ever and I've had my fair share. Staff were also brilliant. Top notch, Well done...
