Fuku House Japanese Cuisine — Restaurant in England

Below is a review from November 2023 It has been a month since my last review on this restoraunt and well I cannot fathom the amount of great meals I have had everytime I go, tonight I had another Chicken Katsu and the chicken is on point and the rice is still perfect!

100% I recommend anything from the menu at this restoraunt to excite the tastebuds and wash it down with authentic Japanese drinks which I do suggest buying a Hata while there.

Below is a review from October 2023 First time coming today, walked in and requested a Chicken Teriyaki Donburi served with a Miso Soup.

Overall a lovely made dinner, all the food matched well with nothing overpowering, the rice was for sure something different as I never had it prepared like this, 5 stars!

The staff were also really nice and kind during the ordering, having a nice goodbye said to me on my way out adds to the experience.

Locals will know that this used to be a Chinese takeaway, and Japanese cuisine is pretty rare for Poole in general, so this store was pretty unique when it opened.

So far they seem to be doing well. The premises are clean and well presented, and the food is good and consistent.

I'm very glad they introduced the lunch time collection special for Wednesday/Thursday, which offers cheaper alternatives to the full priced menu. The regular menu is a bit pricey IMHO (depending on your budget), and they could consider creating a set menu. But, otherwise, I have no complaints and have always had well presented and tasty food from them.

Good miso soup, chicken karaage was awesome, red bean pancakes are nice and unique. Overall, a really nice takeaway with absolutely lovely staff. Seriously, the staff are so sweet and really appreciate their customers. Such nice people and I really hope this...

We both had amazing meals from Fuku House, the lovely Chef let me try the sauce for the Beef Curry, to make sure it wasn't too spicy & hot for me. The young lad who served us was very polite. The Lady Chef was lovely too & gave us a seaweed salad on the house. Never tasted such a fabulous meal, it was so amazing. I had a huge serving & so did my husband. This was our 1st Japanese meal. My husband had the Chicken Matsu Tomago Toji Donbur & I had the Beef Curry. It was hot & very tasty.... We both had Spring rolls too, they were delicious. The beautiful flowers at the till were a lovely touch..... Funnily enough, we watched a Spaghetti Western called Red Sun, with Charles Bronson about the theft of a Ceremonial Japanese Sword !!
