We did enjoy our afternoon tea for 2 🙂 the food was nice and homemade. To make the experience better would be to clearly state on the website or fb page that it is cash only or bank transfer. The only way i found out was reading a review from 10 months ago. We don’t tend to carry £30+ cash on us and not everyone has access to online banking. Also the coffee wasn’t the hottest, once poured had to drink straight away as wasn’t that warm. We asked for another one but wasn’t that much warmer so have to rush down the coffee before it got even colder. If wasn’t for this I wouldn’t have had any negatives...

Fabulous food. I was very impressed with the imaginative selection of vegetarian options on offer, which we both enjoyed (even though Mum's not a veggie). We couldn't possibly eat the whole tea, and were given a nicely boxed-up "doggy bag", which was a welcome touch.
Very friendly, efficient staff. Lovely surroundings. Food served on pretty china crockery.
