I walked in after a long day at work (I travel a lot for work all over the country), the first thing that got my attention was the jovial and extremely characteristic and charming employee behind the counter.

The quantity of food I received was pure brilliance and definitely worth the trip.

This chip shop advertises, and says, they do gluten free fish and chips. I thought my fish and chips were being cooked in a separate fryer out of sight at the back of the shop. I was so shocked when he wrapped up a fish from the hot cabinet at the counter were all the other gluten products were and passed it to me. This is not suitable for a coeliac and should not be stated as gluten free as the risk of contamination was very high. Beautiful fish and chips cooked to order on Saturday lunchtime. Huge portions of lily white, delicate, delicious fish so great value for money. I have coeliac disease and I needed gluten free. We phoned ahead an hour before all great. Strictly speaking to be gluten free the fish has to be fried in a fryer separate from the battered fish. When I arrived he showed me the gluten free batter and explained that he used the same fryer. He said other customers were always happy. I was away from home and I agreed to that.
