Greggs — Restaurant in England

Nice staff as usual and the food is prepared nicely and honestly couldn't fault it. Atmosphere is as you'd expect. I usually go to McDonald's for breakfast when I'm working early or on a long journey but I decided to go to Greggs and honestly there's nothing better than a nice bacon sandwich or a steak bake with a hot drink to warm you up at the start of the day and it will be my new go to for such times. Food is cooked nicely and thank goodness they don't have overcooked and dry chicken in the hot section. Good value for when you're on the go. I was served by the trainee today, Matt. I believe his training is complete, he's a class act. Polite, well-spoken, helpful, double checks your order, and wishes you well for the rest of the day. I'd highly recommend the Mexican chicken sandwich. It was very flavourful, I'd have normally gone for the tandoori chicken. However, this was out of stock, and I'm now glad it was.
