Zeera Tandoori — Restaurant in England

Not gonna lie, I had no clue what I wanted or where from until I asked on Facebook. The result was everyone telling me "oh go to Zeeras!" I picked the meat tahli as it sounded like a good mix for someone who wasn't sure and also has the spice tolerance of a kitten. The gentleman who took my order was absolutely lovely, the service time was fab, got the food home and it was red hot (and theyd even put a layer of cardboard between each layer of the foil trays so they wouldn't collapse!). Wasn't sure what everything would be like but safe to say it's the morning after and I'm already thinking of ordering again. The food was gorgeous - beautifully spiced, real chunks of meat. And the naan bread had me drooling on the drive home from the smell of it alone. Placed an order over the phone after justeat website said they didn't deliver to my address in chester-le-street (they do). Was told 60-75 mins; after 90 mins rang the restaurant to chase the order - was told it was still being cooked!! Arrived over 2 hours after order placed - absolutely ridiculous. Then to add insult to injury they overcharged us - said £21 online (inc delivery) but charged £24 and my partner paid not realising. The food itself was only £19.50 so how they can justify charging £4.50 delivery I don't know. The naan bread was stone cold, onion bhaji soggy and luke warm. The curries were hot but unfortunately the lamb methi was practically inedible it just tasted really strange. All in all a terrible experience, avoid...

Food took more than two hours to arrive tonight and when it did it was stone cold and half the order was missing. Rang up asking for either the missing food or a refund. They said they would give us the food. More than another later the missing items still hadnt turned up so we rang again. They said they would send the missing food with a full refund we were annoyed but OK with this. BUT when the delivery driver arrived they had only sent them with £4 of the refund... we rang up to have a discussion with the person again who was not flexibile on this at all. If they had given us the full refund as agreed we probably have gone back but.. after the food not arriving more more than 3 hours and not getting refund I will definately NOT...
