SERVICE level let down.
Only giving a 2* as I received an apology from the restaurant, otherwise it would have been 1*. Good food as always.
New Year’s Eve order for delivery 2.2hrs late with a 2 week year old and a 4 year old wasnt great! I phoned up at 17:20pm and requested how long it would take to deliver and I was told 1hr. I left voice mails x2, and phoned them 20 times over the course of the time frame. It arrived (via a Just Eat delivery guy) and I sent it away as I had cooked another meal. Not once did the restaurant pick up, regardless of the evening it fell on I would have at least appreciated a status on my delivery. Lessons learnt not to bother on New Year’s Eve. :D. Delivery driver said 15mins on travel, so they must of started the food approx 1.5hrs into the timeframe.
I was offered a full refund, but I wanted an Indian still so I accepted the apology and was told a few sides would be added on. I received only 1 side probably worth £6-7 Sag Aloo. Perhaps it was better for a discount for a second order.
I enjoyed the meal but it’s left a sour taste on my overall experience. Eaten here quite a number of times....

Having lived in Salisbury for two years and tried many of the restaurants and pubs in the area, I must give the highest of praises to this hidden jewel by the railway station. From the moment we arrived, it was like being welcomed home to family. The service was impeccable - professional, polite but warm and friendly. They have Cobra on draught, which is another bonus.
The food was simply to die for. Possibly the best meal I have ever eaten anywhere. The flavours of each dish were carefully crafted to pair with each other - the duck starter one of my favorites, and the chicken madras the perfect level of heat. The portions were more than sufficient, and I was able to have leftover curry for lunch the next day (it was just as delicious as the night before).
A truly wonderful experience, and I cannot wait to bring my friends and family, and try more of...
Read moreI came in here after getting off a late train and luckily just caught the kitchen that was just about to close 1030. How glad I am that I got to taste their lovely food, I had the Gurkhas revenge although asked for it to be slightly less spicy than usual but still with a good kick, it was absolutely lush, lovely smoky flavour and perfectly spiced. Looks like an interesting menu with Nepalese and goan curries as well as the usual curry flavours. Lovely waiter, so welcoming even though it was rather late!
The garlic naan was also much more tasty, than the usual slightly soggy naans you get from other curry houses.
Ii’ll definitely come back or grab a takeaway after getting...
