Just been for a meal, table of 4 adults, 7pm Friday night. There was six other people in for the full hour we sat there. It's a huge space so the atmosphere was non existent! £19.98 per person with one free MEDIUM coke... (don't ask for a large or it'll cost you another £4!!) The waiter was nice enough but didn't seam particularly bothered... or maybe he was embarrassed, I would be! I honestly didn't know whether to laugh or cry. The food is on a buffet style table in warmers amd it was unbelievable! It was like going to a 5 year olds birthday party! Chicken Nuggets and hard, dry fries. Pizza that looked and tasted like the cheapest ones you can buy in the budget range at supermarkets, the sadest looking lasagne I have ever laid eyes on, dry penne pasta and who knows what sauces in warmers! Then desert was, very ramdomly, strawberry jelly in cocktail glasses and mr whippy ice cream or slices of bought cake that's been in the fridge so is rock hard! I genuinely do not know how this place is still open. It's a real shame! If they had a proper cook who made the pizzas and pasta and brought a taste of proper Italian food the place would be packed! I know it's all about maximising profit but that was painful. We will not be returning 😞 what a waste of money.

Had a great time here, all you can eat buffet, plus free first soft drink. Tried a variety of things including pasta bolognaise, chicken parmo and they had a few different pizza choices. The waiter came round through the meal to offer us some cheesy garlic bread which was lovely. For dessert there was a large refrigerator filled with lovely cakes and profiteroles, it was hard to make a choice!! I opted for a piece of brownie, accompanied by some ice cream which you helped yourself to from the machine. It was like a Mr whippy style, and was very nice, I topped it with some caramel sauce, I also sampled a strawberry daiquiri cocktail which was lovely. Came out absolutely stuffed, staff were lovely and doing a great job as I know they've not been open too long, will be back next time I'm in Workington!

First starting with a positive the staff were friendly and the venue has been done out nice and was clean. The setup is very confusing and looking around the other customers looked just as confused. You’re pointed to a hot buffet which was very plain and extremely small! It was basically a kids menu of nuggets and chips and wedges. They was no salad, bread or anything refreshing. We then waited for the food to come out and before we had eaten we were asked to pay a bill? I did wonder when we would pay for a second round of drinks but didn’t get asked anyways. The serving of the food was very slow as they walked around with a small amount of food to offer the room. By the time they got to your table we would be offered one portion they had left and was already going cold. The one pasta dish we liked we had to share and as it didn’t come back out. I really liked the pizza but again wasn’t much variation and not much left to offer when arriving at our table. By the end of our visit I seen more veggie pizza than anything else which was disappointing. I don’t know how it can be all you can eat when you’re not offered a lot in the time you’re there or given more options. By the end we naturally left after food failed to come out. Think the business should consider making it a buffet as this not worth the money for a few bits of cold pizza and cold pasta. Unfortunately the cold food is the reason for a 2 stars …had it been hotter and more frequent I would have...

Let's start with the good, the food was delicious. I had the pizza and it was one of the best I've had in a long time.

The main problem came down to the bill and how they explained it. Bearing in mind non of this is written down anywhere and we were told the buffet (so long as we ordered mains) was free several times. I think they realised they had made a mistake because they actually came up us towards the end of the meal to explain again but this time it was different to how it was explained at the beginning. The end bill was over £70 which for a quick lunch is extortionate, when I told the lady this she said "I think it's pretty normal now". I'm hoping this was just a miscommunication but it's definitely something to be aware of, if I'd known before we sat we would have gone elsewhere for lunch.

The food really was good and it's a shame this happened because this could have been our regular date night spot.

One other thing of note, and take this as you will, the 5 star food standards rating in the window is not for these guys, it's for the previous restaurant, these guys have not been...
