5-Star Review for HERD Burger, Cornwall
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I recently had the pleasure of dining at HERD Burger in Cornwall, and I can confidently say it was one of the best burger experiences I've ever had! From the moment I stepped in, the vibrant atmosphere and friendly staff made me feel right at home.
The menu offers a fantastic variety of mouthwatering burgers, and I was particularly impressed by the locally sourced ingredients. I decided to try the signature HERD burger, and it did not disappoint! The patty was cooked to perfection—juicy, flavorful, and just the right amount of char. The toppings were fresh and delicious, and the homemade sauces took it to another level.
In addition to the burgers, the sides were equally impressive. The hand-cut fries were crispy and golden, and I couldn't resist trying the loaded nachos, which were generously topped and bursting with flavor.
The vibe in the restaurant is casual yet lively, making it a great spot for a relaxed meal with friends or family. Plus, their commitment to sustainability and supporting local producers is commendable and adds to the overall experience.
If you find yourself in Cornwall, do yourself a favor and visit HERD Burger. You won't regret it! I can't wait to return and try more from their tempting menu. Highly...
Read moreI was welcomed to Herd on Friday with a warm smile and a positive greeting. The small female server (Sasha I think her name was) was extremely polite, well mannered and knowledgeable of the availability of products. It was my first time at Herd as I was passing through the area for business and wanted to grab a quick bite to eat. After a quick google search, Herd seemed like my kind of place, and I must say it lived up to more than I could've expected. The venue was clean and well maintained by staff. Toilets were also kept clean, which is a bonus as I often find toilet cleanliness in food venues lack. I was extremely spoiled for choice with regards to food options, however I was glad to see the server help me in making a decision by recommending me a double beef (which turned out to be fantastic)!
First impressions are everything, and Sasha went above and beyond with hers. I would simply return to Herd just to feel the positive attitude from Sasha once more.

Read moreOrdering is easy with the touchscreens on the wall, waited about 15 mins as it was busy, that's expected and acceptable. We had the chicken burger, I thought the peppercorn sauce was an odd choice, I would've preferred a chicken sauce or bbq, also it was poor value due to a small piece of chicken. We also got the herd mac, the burger was a good size, lots of salad and sauce, the bun disintegrated which is all to common these days, it didnt have enough of a char for me, taste was OK though. The spicy fries needed another 5 minutes in the fryer, they were well seasoned with plenty of the spice mix . One thing I hate is this trend of pricing only for a burger with fried being an additional 4 or 5 pound (for £1 worth of fries!), it's stingey and misanthropic. This means you end up paying £16 or £17 for a burger and fries, that's higher than gastro pub prices where you get salad and slaw too! I really hope that trend...
