After being massively let down by another local Indian restaurant, The Raj, we called in here on a whim.
Boy am I glad we did, I might have just found my new favourite Indian restaurant.
I was worried that the meal wouldn't be as good as I'd built in my mind I was going have in my local before they royally messed me and my family about. I'm delighted to say that not only was the dinner I had better presented, it also tasted a LOT better, even down to the quality of meat used. VERY HAPPY.
My entire family out last night had a thoroughly enjoyable meal and the staff there were superb. VERY polite, friendly and professional.
From what started as a night ruined by The Raj, we were saved and then some by The Himalaya.
Looking forward to visiting here again and another...
Read moreArrived a party of six, prebooked at 18.30 on a Saturday. Busy and got busier. Took ages to get a menu and then only four between six of us.
Eventually ordered drinks which took 30 minutes to arrive. Another ten minutes before food order was taken so already over an hour since we arrived.
Everyone was moaning so we weren't the only ones. Two waiters for the whole packed restaurant.
Went and complained at the counter as no waiters came near us. Over an hour wait for food! Not good enough. Eventually left really annoyed over three hours after arriving.

Was able to go in with plenty of time to set up balloons/banners etc. We had so much food and flexibility as a couple of people hadn't been able to make it.
