Best place to have coffee and cake in Redruth! The ONLY fault is the smoking outside in the sheltered area has prevented myself and a few others from coming back :( we have to sit outside as we have dogs, but we are amongst the smokers so eating lunch/drinking coffee is always inhaled with gallons of smoke. A few people just sit and smoke continuously in the sheltered area and there's no fresh air in that bit. It would be best if smokers were only allowed to sit out in the very front bit so they are actually outside, as the sheltered area just becomes a complete smoke trap. This was a nice coffee shop. If you are vegan you have several options for yummy cake, I had a lovely cheesecake and a nice cup of tea. My husband had a nice espresso and very enjoyable brownie! I ordered a soup. Beside having problems with the card reader and having a slow service they first only wiped the table because I asked and then brought the soup with dirty cutlery. When I complained about the cutlery the member of staff took it back and wiped it in the back only with a serviette. It was still sticky when she handed it back to me.
