Tonight I fancied a KFC with my partner. What a mistake this was! After waiting in the long que I pulled into the car park thinking it would be quicker than the slow moving at time stopped que for the drive through only to find out the resurant was full. So we rejoined the drive through que again. Only when you get close enough to see a sign saying apologies for delays due to equipment! Where you can't no longer turn round. We order a bargain bucket 10 peice £14.99 plus sauces. After nearly an hour we get our food and pay. Only to find out when we get back home to eat only to find they had given us the wrong order. 3 boxes with chicken wrap chicken burger with hash brown vicarious chicken not what we ordered but thought oh well best eat what we had after such a long wait only to find that everything nearly cold! After eating a small amount I ended up throwing most of it away and calling KFC Bodmin to complain and ask for a refund! Astonish to be told that they ate not authorized to do refunds! I asked to talk to the managed to which the reply was I am the manager! I ask to talk to her superior and when I was told he was available I ask for the name and number of her superior to which she said I cant give you this. It is my right as it is yours that if the order you pay for is not correct that a full refund is your right and not a credit when you next return. What make them think I wish to return after such bad service and rude and unhelpful manager. Worst experience I have ever had at a fast food restaurant! I will take this further. Read moreThe worst ever KFC in Cornwall and after visiting has left me furious. Drive through speaker had a sign which I mis-understood thinking it was out if order which I drove past. Took 20-30 mins just to get to the pay and collect window for me to explain and apologise after taking full responsibility for not stopping and ordering. The kind guy who simply asked for assistance to the manager on advice with what to do got a angry and frustrated response from the 'manager' which made me feel really uncomfortable and furious with the way the manager reacted. After asking to speak to the manager to voice my opinions, she appeared after another 10mins waiting and apologised and blamed that we are busy. I was tempted to say sure - but this store is always busy due to short staff or no items are ready and there is always a 30min wait from start to finish on previous visits. After another apology I recieved the order and I was missing part of my order! I have logged with Head Office - however I have decided to post this publicly because a company like KFC should be treating customers and staff far better and this store seriously needs to sort out its management. Read moreHave been here a few times so not just basing this review on a one-off visit. This is hands down the worst fast food establishment I’ve ever been too. Service is incredibly slow even when the place is dead empty. Also they continually mess up orders giving the wrong items and or even making staple menu products incorrectly. Most recently ordered a twister wrap meal… fairly simple to make there as there are literally only two components — chicken tenders and slaw. I paid extra to add a hash brown to the wrap as feeling pretty hungry. Of course the wrap comes out with no slaw and no hash brown. Just chicken in a wrap with some rotten iceberg lettuce. If you’re out of a main component of a product, you should at least disclose that to the customer. And if you’re going to leave out extras that were paid for you should refund that amount. Unfortunately take away and didn’t realize until I had driven home. Also this would be forgivable if it were a high traffic period, but there was literally no queue at 4:30pm on a Tuesday 9 July between lunch and dinner rush. No one was there.
