Not Even Worth One Star.

KFC brand is not bad, it's this specific restaurant. Not only do they muck up orders, but they LIE to customers.

Messing Up Your Order.

These people behind the counters DONT listen. My voice is clear and loud, it's not like I'm super quiet. Many occasions, I've been given Normal Pepsi instead of Diet, the wrong burger and even the wrong box meal. The drive thru is no different. But, it mostly happens when you walk in and order.

Purposely LYING to customers.

I am disgusted by the way they lie to customers. They told me that the ice cream machine was completely broken, out of order. But, 5 mins later, another customer walks up, orders 3 kream balls and what do I see in his hand? THE KREAM BALLS. When I went up to the desk to enquire, all I got was bullshit about the machine "only just started to work" and then they said, "Oh, the machine was never out of order, we were cleaning it." You don't clean an ice cream machine on a FRIDAY EVENING when loads of customers want an ice cream. Common sense people? And then there was the coffee machine. I went up and ordered a latte, no big deal, right? Well, that machine stopped working the second I went to collect my order, that's such a big coincidence when I see another customer just minutes later holding a cup. Oh, and no refund apparently.

The Hygiene.

The place is filthy. Not only do we have dirty tables and seats, but there is litter, food falling out from overflowing bins. Dirty toilets and hair in the food when you receive it. Even though the place had a fancy refurbishment when you put lipstick on a pig, it's still a pig. Nothing has changed. If you are going to feed a young child KFC, don't go and sit in for fear they might get sick.

The Prices

I know that the place had a refurb so they have to try to pay that off, but the prices in KFC have doubled, almost tripled. There is no need for this. A box meal containing chicken, COLD fries, and a little side is £6?! That is a huge rip that no customer can afford. If you want quality food, go to a KFC somewhere else.

The Drive Thru

When I went through the drive-thru, it took me 20 mins until I could get to the position to place my order. Not only this but the position you stop at means you have to SHOUT across to the person taking your order. Sometimes, I can barely understand the person and them, once again, muck up your order. But, when you ask them to read it back to you, they do it so fast that you cant understand them, no matter how many times you ask.

Very very poor customer service resulting in me walking out mid way through placing my order to never return Again. So went in to place order and no one waiting at checkout to place an order which was great I thought quick service in and out....not a chance.. I stood there for about 5 minutes watching the 5 staff behind the counter completing orders for takeaways and found myself being shoved away from the checkout till by 6 delivery drivers all waiting to get their deliveries processed. After no acknowledgement from the staff in about 6 minutes of waiting I asked one of the servers if anyone was going to serve me. Without looking up to me or apologising for my wait one server from the 5 staff answered be with you in a minute. Eventually once the delivery drivers had there deliveries completed I got the attention of a server who came to me to take my order. I tried to place my family order but had to repeat my self several times as she either couldn't hear or understand me very well but halfway through another delivery driver walked in and instantly her attention went on him and I was sidelined again. At that after being in there 10 mins and only halfway through my order I walked out thoroughly disgusted by the poor customer service. I watched a documentary this week called KFC at Christmas and can honestly say this store does not promote any where near the levels of excellence this...

Last time I visited it was poor, we ordered a takeaway and we were given the drinks with NO lids?!?! Hello?? All the couriers taking orders to deliver had lids I assume, when we asked we were told there none left! We sat in the car park as we couldn't really drive with the lidless drinks. Eating away then a bloody rat runs across the car park! God, you couldn't write it! We didn't go back for a couple of months. Anyway, benefit of the doubt, possible change of staff (as per norm!) We thought we'd chance it last week. Big mistake. This place just gets worse. The fries were cold and dry and the gravy was runny, burger was just awful, thankfully the drinks were nice as I like a cherry coke, well Pepsi as they only do. This KFC ain't lick (pun intended) on others we have visited. Peterborough by far the best we've had. Everytime you go Corby there are different staff, you can't really sit in peace or privacy as the door is constantly opened and closed with hoofing great big deliveroo or just eat cool bags flying past your head with drivers constantly in and out quicker than an amazon courier! We will defo be sidestepping Corby KFC in future. Terrible food that honestly has...
